Bai Zhan then raised his head and looked at Bai Meiyue before saying to her, "The situation outside seems chaotic; you should stay at home, Yueyue."

"Of course," Bai Meiyue agreed. There was no need for her to worry about going out for the time being, because in a few days the entire city was going to be flooded due to the sudden tsunami for which no one had prepared.

The sound of the doorbell echoed in the penthouse and just as Bai Meiyue got to her feet and walked over to the security camera, she heard a voice coming from the intercom.

"Miss Bai, I am the property manager. Manager Ni, is it convenient for you to open the door?"

Bai Meiyue frowned and looked at the greasy face that was staring up at the camera and turned on her feet without saying anything. She was not going to open the door. If he was smart, then Manager Ni would turn around and leave.

To think that this man actually used the universal pass lock to open the door that separated her corridor from the other two.

"This penthouse was something that I purchased after paying the full amount. If you dare to break in, then I promise that I will kill you all and bury you in the storeroom. I fear no one! I even have a certificate to prove that I am not well; even if I kill someone, none of you will be able to do anything."

For a time, no one spoke and stared at the door, which was still buzzing with electricity.

Then someone in the back remarked, "Shall we try 5501?"

No sooner did he finish speaking than the intercom of the apartment not far from Bai Meiyue’s apartment buzzed and then, "Sure but we have a flu patient. The same flu had caused an explosion in the hospitals. That’s the only room empty. If you dare to sleep with the flu patient, then you might as well come inside!"
