contact her later. 

Later, she went for a barbecue with Micahel and the group. 

She enjoyed it so much that she forgot about Celeste. 

“The timing is all that matters, don’t you think?” Mikayla teased Celeste. 

Celeste gave up reasoning with her and asked directly, “What was with the news last night? The topic was 

trending, and it was all over my feed.” 

Mikayla briefly explained what happened last night to Celeste. 

“So, you discovered someone was taking pictures of you and you decided to go along with it to create a 

trend?” 

“That’s right, they’ll make me look pitiful and miserable anyway. Instead of being laughed at, I might as 

well make good use of it.” 

“You’re really good. You could come up with such a good marketing idea in that sad situation. In the past, you would have stopped Jerome from leaving the party” Celeste complimented. 

After Celeste mentioned this, Mikayla remembered something. 

In her previous life, because of Jerome’s bias towards Kylie, she followed Aubrey’s advice and met Kylie. 

in a coffee shop to negotiate
