Mikayla lowered her gaze and noticed a bruise on Jerome’s back.

Mikayla knew that Celeste was trying to please her for luring her here. 

She stared at Celeste and said sarcastically. “You’re so considerate!” 

“No worries, dig in!” Celeste remarked as she ate a drumstick. 

Mikayla took the drumstick instead because it was troublesome to peel the shrimp. 

“Mikayla, Ms. Reign said you love grilled prawns the most? Why aren’t you eating them?” Connor asked. 

Mikayla took a bite of the drumstick. Her cheeks were puffed up as she said, “I’m too lazy to peel the 

shells.” 

Celeste chuckled. “She finds it troublesome when she’s eating alone. But she can peel a whole plate of prawn for someone special. 

Mikayla glared at Celeste. “You’re talking too much today. Your mouth can’t stop even when you’re eating.”

The prawns would be nicely arranged on the plate. The plate would also be decorated with some flowers and condiments in the middle. The dish looked like a work of art.

Mikayla took another plate of prawn and put it before Jerome. “Since you’re so considerate, why don’t you 

peel these as well? I can’t wait to eat them all.” 

This was the only time that she could boss Jerome around. It wouldn’t be bad to have him serve her a 

little, especially since he always acts so high and mighty. 

Jerome pursed his lips and began to peel the prawns.
