Broderick sat slowly on the bed after Amy had left. If he was told that Amy beat Elva, he would probably have doubt ed it but he saw it for himself. But Amy left angrily just be cause he tried to rebuke her.

Broderick received a call and once he picked up his phone, he saw that the caller ID was Elva. He answered it at once and Elva‘s words came through,” hey Elva.”

“Sir, I thought you had a plan of coming to check up on me?” Elva asked.

“I‘ll be with you soon,” Broderick said and walked out.

After a few minutes, he arrived at the hospital and walked straight inside Elva‘s ward. As if Amy had known that he was going to come here, she clenched her fist hardly when he saw him entering Elva‘s ward.

Amy walked out and once she got inside her car, she called Joan and once she answered her, she said to her,” | won‘t come home this night, please ensure the children are fine, okay?”

“Is anything wrong Amy?” She asked.

“Not at all, I‘m very cool. I just need to fix some things,” she said and quickly hung the call up so that Joan wouldn‘t ask her any more question.

Amy drove over to the club and soon walked inside. This was what she had always stopped herself from doing but she couldn‘t help it today. She had had enough of Broderick. She considers the love she had for him to be very stupid.

After ordering for a drink, she sat alone and began to drink. She knew that sooner or later, a man will approach her. She was prepared for that.

A few minutes after she had been drinking all alone, she heard a male voice call,” hi.”

“Hey,” Amy said without bothering to raise her head up to see the man. She was so engrossed in drinking.

“Can I sit?”

“No,” Amy didn‘t think twice before answering. She drank more and more until her body became heavy.

The man standing beside her simply watched without saying any word neither did he make a move. Amy continued drinking until her vision became very blurry.

She began to stagger on her sit and when she was about falling, the man beside her helped her. Seeing that she was al most not herself, she helped her up and lead her outside.

“Where are we…going?” Amy asked like a drunkard.

“You will soon find out,” once they got before his car, he opened the door to the backseat and made her sit gently.

Afterwards, he drove to his house. About a few hours lat er, Amy woke up and fluttered her eyes opened repeatedly. Seeing that she was in a strange room, she immediately jerked up from the bed and while trying to stand from the bed, she saw a man seated calmly on a couch.

She almost fainted on seeing him, “what! Michael?”

“God said it‘s not yet time for ms to die,” Michael said calmly. He was dressed in a grey suit and looked fresh and

calm. He was neither smiling nor frowning and his aura was very strong and noble.

A moment of an awkward silence happened between the duo, “erm…I think I should go home now.”

Amy was stunned at how he knew, he wanted to ask him how he finds out but he swallowed it. He was close in power to Broderick so he could probably find out anything he wants to.
