Antonio, of course, knew that the person who took care of Selena was called over and instructed not to tell her for the time being, lest she be distracted.
As for Osvaldo himself, he disliked anything that took Selena's attention away from him, especially if it involved others. Naturally, he wouldn't tell Selena about it, indirectly resulting in Selena, as the fiancée of the Anderson family, being the last person to find out that Antonio was celebrating his birthday.
Seeing Selena frowning, Leia said, "Madam Selena, don't worry. Young Master will accompany you personally, and the gifts are all ready."
Selena thought that although it was not a big deal for an old man to celebrate his birthday, after all, Antonio was Osvaldo's grandfather. As his future fiancée, she couldn't be too perfunctory.
With that in mind, Selena stood up and walked to the garden downstairs.
Leia followed Selena with a puzzled look and walked into her flower room where she usually painted and wrote.
Selena walked to the desk, spread out a blank sheet of paper, picked up a pen, and started writing. Leia couldn't tell what Selena was writing at first, but when it took shape, Leia's eyes widened in amazement.
She was about to exclaim in surprise, but she suddenly realized that she might disturb Selena and immediately covered her mouth, her black eyes rolling around.
Leia looked at Selena standing behind the table. She was a slender girl, but there was a strong, domain-like aura about her as she wrote. And... how did Madam Selena know that Antonio liked this so much?!
After Selena finished writing, she carefully looked at it to make sure it was presentable. Then she put down the brush and instructed Leia, "Bring it with us. Let's go to the Anderson family."
Leia carefully picked up the piece of calligraphy, afraid that she might accidentally break it. She knew that if she did, Antonio would have her head.
Just as Selena reached the door, she ran into Osvaldo, who had come to pick her up. Selena got into the passenger seat, and Osvaldo drove towards the Anderson family.
...
The Anderson family, the head of the four major families, rarely welcomed guests. However, they happened to be celebrating Antonio's 80th birthday, which was a grand occasion.
Antonio's wife had passed away from illness in her early years, Cassius had been expelled from the family, Osvaldo was always traveling, and Selena had not yet officially married into the family, leaving only Benjamin and Lady Lauren as the two masters of the Anderson family.
Benjamin was cold and aloof, preferring to sleep rather than waste his time elsewhere.
Of course, no one in the whole capital had the privilege to invite the big shot to attend to them. Lady Lauren, however, enjoyed being a part of the excitement, especially when it concerned her daughter-in-law. She stood at the door with a few servants, smiling brightly and welcoming guests.
The group of men who knew the true nature of the Anderson family were sweating coldly, acting extremely polite and fearing to upset Lady Lauren, lest Benjamin would publicly kick them out.
Compared to other young ladies, Vivian was a regular visitor to the Anderson family. She dressed especially brightly and beautifully today to show off her unique honor. She walked up to Lady Lauren with a smile and called her "Madam" affectionately.
Lady Lauren looked at the Shaw siblings and casually avoided the hand that Vivian reached out to her. She said with a smile, "Osvaldo and Selena haven't come back yet. You can sit in the hall for a while."
