Chapter 1622: You're really crazy.

After sending the message, Selena turned and followed Osvaldo into the basement.

Stanley looked at the message Selena had sent and a cold light flashed in his eyes.

There was only one sentence on it.

--Lillian has come to the capital.

The fact that Selena said it with such a tone could only mean that she had already met Lillian before.

Stanley looked towards where Selena was and his gaze became incredibly cold.

After finishing training with Osvaldo, Selena went back to her room to rest.

Selena took a shower and lay down on her bed, closing her eyes ready to sleep when she suddenly realized that Osvaldo hadn't gotten into bed yet.

He was just sitting by the side of the bed, trying to get her to fall asleep.

Selena blinked,"What's wrong?"

Osvaldo touched her face and smiled,"I have something tonight; I need go out for a bit. Once you're asleep I'll leave."

Selena was taken aback for a moment. She never interfered in Osvaldo's personal affairs. He had promised to sleep with her every night, so whatever he chose to do at night must be important.

Selena obediently closed her eyes and said, "Be careful and come back early."

Osvaldo's thin lips curved up. "Anything else?"

Selena opened her eyes again, her dark pupils turning in circles. Suddenly she sat up and kissed him on the lips with a smile. "Husband, I will miss you."

Osvaldo chuckled and held onto her kiss for a while before leaving quietly after she fell asleep.

The night was cool as water as two figures sat facing each other in a small villa.

A young woman sat comfortably on the sofa with both hands naturally resting on the armrests as she smiled and asked, "Why didn't you bring Selena along?"

"I made time to see her earlier," Osvaldo replied.

"Or is it because you see her only as your 'pet'?" The woman's eyes sparkled mischievously.

Osvaldo's eyes were still dark but no longer suppressed his true nature; they were now filled with cunningness.

Lillian smiled slightly without noticing his murderous aura that permeated through him. "I'm sorry I misspoke; what I meant was that Selena is everything to you."

She slowly approached him and said in a threatening tone, "You don't want her to go home. You're angry that those sudden 'friends' are taking up her attention."

"You don't want her to have anything else besides you at all."

"You keep her in captivity, wanting to help her resolve all of her hatred, letting her lose everything and then embracing her with a deep affectionate smile, saying to her 'you still have me...'"

"You want to monopolize her."

"You want to lock her up, tie her hands, gag her, and only you can touch her, and only talk to you, so she can never push you away."
