Chapter 1636: Thank You Gift

After coming to her senses, the receptionist immediately walked over respectfully and smiled, "Madam, you're here."

Selena took a rare moment to look around curiously and lightly said, "Hmm," before softly asking, "Where is the young master?"

The receptionist smiled and said, "The young master is on the rooftop. The elevator is over there."

As she spoke, she gestured with a hand for Selena to follow.

Selena walked over with Leia and entered the elevator.

There was only one room on the top floor. Leia was very tactful and stayed outside while Selena walked up to the door and gently pushed it open before looking inside.

Osvaldo stood in front of his desk with his familiar black clothes and hair. He furrowed his brows as he concentrated on something while looking down.

After gazing at that exquisite handsome face for a moment or two in silence, Selena quietly approached him from behind without making any noise.

She came up behind Osvaldo then reached out her arms around his waist as she asked

Selena reached up and wrapped her arms around his long neck, kissing his cheek before leaning in close to his ear. "I came... to thank you," she whispered softly.

Osvaldo curved his thin lips into a smile. "And where's my thank-you gift?"

Selena pulled out the small cake she had bought earlier, placing it on the table and opening the lid. She scooped a spoonful of cake and offered it to him with a grin. "Here you go."
