Selena glanced casually at Penelope and let out a cold smile. "Miss Penelope, before you say that again, have you not realized that the person you were talking about is someone who can easily crush Mr. Doyle, whom you are so proud of? Since I arrived, he hasn't said a word."
The smile that had just appeared on Penelope's face froze instantly. She turned her head almost in horror and looked at her so-called ace.
Selena didn't say anything, but everyone present suddenly realized what she had just pointed out. It was true that before Selena arrived, Mr. Doyle, whom Penelope had invited, had been arrogant and abusive, not caring about anyone, even insulting Principal Chow in front of so many people.
But after Selena arrived, he suddenly became silent, and not a word came out of his mouth. What did this mean?
Everyone's eyes suddenly turned to Mr. Doyle.
To their surprise, the man who was renowned for his abilities and arrogance was now trembling, sweating profusely, and staring at Black Crow, who was slowly approaching him, with a look of fear and anxiety.
All his body language was indicating that he might know the handsome black-clad young man brought by Selena.
A loud thud could be heard as the hearts of all the aristocratic family members present sank to the bottom.
Winnie stared at Selena with a bewildered expression, her face pale and her eyes full of disbelief.
How could Selena possibly know the dean of the Medical Alliance?
How could the person Selena brought be stronger than the many teachers in the Capital University laboratory?
How could Selena... actually win against them?
A huge sense of imbalance overwhelmed Winnie's heart, making it impossible for her to accept reality. She stared at Selena, her face twisted and ghostly white.
Penelope's eyes were filled with terror, and she was unwilling to admit that she could really lose to Selena. She suddenly took a step forward and grabbed Mr. Doyle's sleeve, her voice becoming shrill and almost hysterical. "Mr. Doyle, you are the leader of the 'Study of Human' organization. How can you be afraid of Selena?"
"She's just a lowly scum born from a small, shabby company in Creephia. How can you be afraid of her?"
"Didn't you say before that Callum's daughter is just blonde girl and not worth worrying about? You should crush Selena, look down on Selena, and make Selena kneel down and apologize to you!"
"You should take your research results and tell Selena-"
Mr. Doyle was originally on guard, staring at the crow who was walking towards him step by step with its two long legs. Suddenly, Penelope grabbed his sleeve, and his tense nerves snapped as he angrily pushed her away, shouting, "Get out of here!"
Penelope was caught off guard and stumbled. If Cameron hadn't helped her, she would have been thrown to the ground.
At the moment when that strange tone just came out, the crow took a step forward towards him, then stopped.
Then, the narrow eyes of the black-haired youth squinted slightly, and there was suddenly a certain sharpness in his eyes, as he raised a devilish smirk at the corner of his lips. "So... it's you, you ugly freak!"
In front of everyone's eyes, everyone clearly saw Mr. Doyle trembling.
Penelope, supported by Cameron's hand, had just barely stabilized herself, but she saw this scene.
She wanted to argue, but Cameron grabbed her arm and said sternly, "Penelope, enough!"
Shaking her head, Penelope screamed in despair, "How could Selena have won against me? I don't believe it, I don't believe it-"
Cameron stared at her face, which had a hint of ferocity, hiding the disappointment in his eyes and said in a stern voice, "Haven't you noticed that the Mr. Doyle you invited is deeply afraid of the other side?"
Penelope's jealous mind suddenly became clear.
