If this was a nightmare, Lilac wished for someone to wake her up, since she didn’t want to dream about this man, especially when she didn’t have the energy to entertain him. 

“What do you want?” Lilac asked tiredly, she wanted to close her eyes, but she needed to stay vigilant, just in case this man was about to do something inappropriate again with her.

really couldn’t understand what was in his mind. This was not something an alpha should do, he didn’t even try to keep his image and appearance at all, as he did whatever he liked without thinking what other might think of him. 

Something that no alpha should do, at the very least, that was what Lilac learned from luna Jasmine. The alpha and the luna were the face of their pack, thus they needed to be aware of how people perceived 

them. 

Yet, here he was. Hunter didn’t care much about such thing. He was so free and careless and probably there was this small part of Lilac that envied him for that. 

“Get out of my bedroom, you are trespassing…” Lilac tried her hard to look so fierce, but she couldn’t muster the energy. The pain of rejection took a toll on her and she wondered how Aiden cope up with this. 

However, from what she heard, it didn’t really affect him, since he still led the training for the warrior. It was really not fair. Why it always her, who got the brunt? 

“Don’t be so hostile with me, I came here to bring you this,” Hunter said, he didn’t take it to heart with the way the weak woman before his eyes treated him. He fished out something from his pocket and showed it 

to her. 

It was a small bottle that contain red liquid. 

-Poison?” Lilac said with hostility. This was the man, who had k*ssed her without permission, so her guess was not out of the blue, it was still within the range of how random this alpha used to act. 

However, Hunter pursed his l*ps when he heard such random guess. “If I want to kill you, do you think I need to make it less painful by using poison, in this state, you will not be able to fight me.” Hunter touched his chin, as if he was thinking about it. You will not stand a chance to fight me even in your great day.” 

That was true. What a scrawny woman like Lilac could do to this alpha lycan? 

“What is that?” Lilac asked, she didn’t want to talk with him, but she found herself couldn’t help, but engaging in conversation with him. 

Hearing the normal question, Hunter’s eyes lit up. “This is a tonic. This can help to regain your vitality!” he said enthusiastically 

“Pass” Lilar must be a fool if she drank the tonic from him. This man had proven to her that he couldn’t be trusted. 

“Don’t be so mean. I really made an effort to come and visit you, don’t you think it’s 100 much to reject my kind gesture to this extent? Hunter didn’t look offended, even though he tried to look defensive for Lilac’s refusal, but it was not enough for him to back down. 

Then, you shouldn’t have come in the first place.” 

“Is this how you repay someone’s kindness?” 

Lilac narrowed her eyes, she really wanted to sleep because the pain was still overbearing and she was not sure how long she would be in so much pain. She wanted this to be over. 

Luna Jasmine told her that the pain could stop if she took back her rejection and accepted Aiden again, but she was too stubborn to do so and she didn’t want to give another chance to that man. 

“No. This is how I used to react to someone, who k*ssed me without permission.” Lilac wanted her words. to be sounded so sarcastic, but she didn’t have the energy for that, thus she could only settle for this annoying look

Still, Hunter didn’t look so bother. His main goal was for Lilac to get better and he accepted that he ass for k*ssing her without permission. “Come on, you will not be in pain soon if you take this.” 

Lilac narrowed her eyes, she didn’t like to be forced to do something, but even so, her determination started to falter. 

“How do I know if that’s a tonic and not a poison?” Lilac finally cracked, but Hunter rolled his eyes when he heard that 

“I told you. if I want to kill someone, I will go for physical pain, not using poison. This method is too girly for me.
