Mr. Griffin suddenly turned around and glared at Olivia Cruise. “What kind of place do think Glamour Pavilion is?”

His cold gaze was like a knife pressed against her aorta, intimidating her. Her pupils trembled slightly as she looked at Mr. Griffin.

Mr. Griffin still had a smile on his face, but it did not seem genuine. “I believe I’ve already been subtle with my words. I hope you learn your lesson, Miss Cruise.”

It was not until Mr. Griffin left that Olivia finally regained her senses.

Everything that had happened today went completely out of control, and everything that she had imagined in her mind had exceeded her expectations.

At first, Olivia thought she would be able to please Old Mr. Smith with the painting she had bought for his birthday. She had spent a lot of money on it. She was confident her gift could overwhelm those brought by others, including Rachel Grey.

However, the broken pocket watch that Rachel brought, in the end, was not only authentic but also exposed her identity as the head of Glamour Pavilion.

Olivia could not understand why every time she wanted to embarrass Rachel, she herself would end up being the one to suffer.

First, it was her career, and now it was her reputation.

This Rachel was her nemesis!

Olivia looked at Rachel leave. Then, Olivia could not take it anymore and chased after Rachel.

On the other side, the members of the Smith family gathered in front of Old Mr. Smith after the guests had left. “Dad, you shouldn’t have given her the company’s shares even if you wanted to compensate her!”

“She and Louis had been in love for three years. Then she was abandoned at the wedding ceremony. Just this alone is enough to make Louis bear the infamy of being a heartless man. If the news of the engagement between Louis and Olivia Cruise spreads, how do you think this will affect the Smith Group?” Old Mr. Smith stared at Harrison.

Harrison’s face darkened instantly.

Old Mr. Smith glanced at him. “Louis‘ marriage is his own problem, but I only have one thing to say, and that is: we shouldn’t let personal problems affect the company.”

“I understand.” Harrison was aware of the seriousness of this matter. If he did not handle it well, Smith Group might be hurt. The current Smith Group could not withstand any more troubles.
