Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 120

Rachel Grey suddenly turned around and looked into his attractive black eyes. “David…” “Yeah?” David stared at her intently; unknown emotions surged in his

“You… haven’t left yet?”

“I’ll always be behind you. I’ll prove myself time and time again.”

He spoke calmly, but what he said was completely different from his tone, exhibiting his dominance and confidence.

Rachel’s eyelashes fluttered slightly, and she gripped the coffee cup in her hand tightly. Not only was he answering what she said earlier, but he was also making a promise to her.

She looked away and said calmly, “David, don’t make any promises to me. I’m afraid I won’t be able to respond to you.”

“Why can’t you?” David muttered.

He held her wrist and brought the coffee cup she was holding to his lips. He took a sip from the spot where her lipstick was printed.

Some of the lipstick was printed on David’s lips, leaving a shallow mark before it was swept away by the tip of his tongue.

“That’s…” Rachel said.

“…My cup,” she thought.

The man noticed her expression and pretended not to know. “What’s wrong?”

Rachel looked at him in a daze, ignoring the burning sensation on her face. “I still have work to do. I might need to get off of work at a later time.”

She had just taken a step when the man reached out and pulled her into his arms again.

He pressed his lips against her ear and said in a low voice, “Rae–Rae, you can respond as long as you want to.”

As long as she wanted to?

How should she respond?

Rachel lowered her eyes to hide her conflicted emotions.

David was like an experienced and patient “hunter.” He stared at her for a moment and gradually let go of her waist. It’s okay. I can wait…”

When Rachel noticed that the man had let go of her, she felt a sense of emptiness.

David suddenly froze on the spot the moment she touched him, and a flash of surprise flashed across his eyes.

The next second, he saw Rachel lean in closer, and a cool softness landed on his lips.

It was as if there was an electric current flowing rapidly through his entire body. In an instant, his mind became blank.

Although it was just a peck, it was enough to make David lose control.
