“When I chose you, I could make you the center of attention and even allow you to stand side by side with me. But when I gave up on you, you were worthless in my eyes. Why would I humiliate myself for you? You’re overestimating yourself!”

“In the past, I liked you because I was inexperienced. Now that I’ve met someone better, I naturally won’t take you seriously. So, Mr. Smith, don’t flatter yourself!”

Every word she said seemed to be filled with sarcasm and disdain.
