Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 186
After returning to the Smith residence, Louis went straight to Old Mr. Smith’s courtyard.
When Old Mr. Smith saw Louis arriving, he was slightly stunned. He handed the birdcage in his hand to the servant beside him. “Why did you suddenly come to see me today? What happened at the company?”
The servant brought a cup of tea to Louis.
After the person left, Louis said, “Grandpa, I met Rachel when I was with Olivia today.”
When Old Mr. Smith heard this, he only looked up at him and waited patiently for him to continue.
“Matthew’s attitude towards Rachel is really intriguing. Louis said. “I’m afraid he would even look down on the Smith family with his current status, let alone Rachel, who came from the countryside. However, his attitude towards Rachel is extremely respectful, even somewhat fearful.”
Old Mr. Smith was very clear about Matthew’s character.
He was an impartial person. If not for the favor he had received from the Cruise family back then, it would probably be difficult for the Cruise family to even meet him now.
Old Mr. Smith frowned slightly. “Are you worried that Rachel has other identities?”
At the birthday banquet, Rachel first exposed the identity of the owner of Glamour Pavilion. He had really been shocked.
Back then, when she came to the Smith family, they had secretly investigated.
She was just a poor girl from the countryside. She had no status or background, nor did she have the power that the Smith family needed.
Otherwise, the Smith family would not have abandoned her and chosen Olivia.
Later on,
it was accidentally exposed that she was a first–class Cultural Relic Restorer and a special advisor to the Cultural Relics Bureau.
Old Mr. Smith was shocked, and at the same time, he also felt a lingering
fear.
His intuition told him that Rachel’s identity was far more than that.
Louis nodded with a slightly solemn expression. “I keep feeling that this matter is not simple, so I hope you can come forward and make peace with Rachel. Please let her participate in the Smith Group’s anniversary celebration.”
The existence of the Johnson family was no different from the top of the pyramid. No one could shake it. Next was the remaining the Shain family, the Green family, and the low–key Page family. The Smith family was barely in the third level.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
