Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 201

Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 201

Old Mr. Smith glanced at him and laughed. “Haha, I have to admit I’m old.”

He had been smart his entire life. Unexpectedly, he was tricked by a young lady in the end.

“Dad, what should we do now?” Mrs. Smith regained her composure and stared at the old man hopefully.

Old Mr. Smith looked up at her calmly. “We are the ones at fault in this matter. We can only apologize and beg for her forgiveness.”

Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith exchanged glances upon hearing that.

Would Rachel choose to forgive them?

No!

The Smith family knew it very well.

They had to apologize regardless of whether she would forgive them or not. At the very least, they had to show remorse so that their reputation would not be ruined.

Not only Old Mr. Smith but Louis also thought of that.

From the moment the photos were exposed to the point where Rachel put on a hypocritical show, she managed to push the Smith family to the center of public censure effortlessly.

She even painted Louis as an ungrateful man.

He always knew that Rachel was competent and there was more to her than met the eyes. But he thought she would show them some respect.

He did not expect her to be so ruthless.

Louis slowly stood up with Olivia in his arms. After staring at Rachel for a moment, he said, “I’m sorry.”

I’ve let you down. I hurt you and hurt Olivia indirectly. I’m willing to do my best to make it up to you and fulfill all your requests.”

“Back then, you thought the Smith family wasn’t good enough for you, so you gave up on him and went to further your studies overseas. Now that they have achieved great success, you throw yourself at him again. Why should I suffer while you reap the fruits of my sacrifice?”

Rachel’s head–on confrontation instantly rendered Olivia speechless, and her face turned pale.

A mistress who destroys others‘ relationships still has the cheek to confront her lover’s girlfriend. This is eye–opening,” someone in the crowd ridiculed.

The person’s remark invited another round of condemnation. “She doesn’t think she is wrong ruining others‘ relationships!”

“She did something so shameless but she’s not afraid of getting bad karma. Instead, she’s worried that others despise her. What a joke!

“She chooses to be a mistress, yet she is so thick–skinned to point the finger at someone else.

With just a few words, Olivia was labeled as a ‘vain mistress!

Her face turned red. She stared at Rachel with a malicious gaze, like a venomous snake flicking its tongue.
