Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 256

Chapter 256 A Serious Relationship.

While eating, Mary and David began to compete in secret

They tried to do all kinds of things for Rachel. Passing the salt. Handing the tissue. Refilling her glass

The two of them acted like they were fighting in an arena

Rachel sensed the unusual atmosphere between them and could not help. but look at Mary..

Her gaze seemed to be saying, What is going on between you two?”

Mary shrugged slightly and looked at David with a smile. Sir, you haven’t introduced yourself.”

David Jones, Rachel’s boyfriend. After David finished speaking, he looked at Rachel with a gentle gaze that could drown someone

Mary could not help but feel a chill

Being intimate with David in front of Mary, Rachel felt uncomfortable

Without batting an eyelid, she pulled her hand back and smiled. “Let’s eat.”

Mary saw all of Rachel’s small gestures. Her raised eyebrows immediately revealed a hint of smugness

RaeRae, how did you meet?”

In other words, your existence is not that important. I have never heard RaeRae mention you before

Rachel pressed her lips into a line. The day before I broke up with Louis.”

Coincidentally, it was the day of her wedding ceremony with Louis

After being abandoned by Louis, she walked alone and encountered heavy

rain

She was wearing a white wedding dress and trying to find shelter from the rain. Then she was accidentally hit by his car

Such a dramatic scene was the beginning of her encounter with David

YouHeMary’s shocked gaze fell on both of them back and forth

She did not expect the man in front of her to be the man who had sent Rachel to the hospital, nor did she expect him to be the owner of that suit

You hid it from me for so long and only told me now!”

When she looked up, David raised his glass and toasted Mary across the air. His eyebrows were slightly raised, and the corners of his mouth curled into

faint smile

Damn it

He was showing off

Mary snorted and raised her chin proudly. She picked up the wine glass and drank it in one gulp

During the meal, she noticed that David took good care of Rachel. Most importantly, none of the side dishes that Rachel hated were on the table

Mr. Jones, how long do you plan to maintain your relationship with RaeRae?”

Upon hearing Mary’s question, Rachel tightened her grip on her knife and fork. She turned her attention to David

David said genuinely, I’m serious about it.‘

Strangely, at this moment, Mary understood what he meant

She was afraid that David was only playing with Rachel, and that Rachel might get hurt again

But now, this man wanted to tell both Mary and Rachel that the original intention of the relationship was to get married

When Mary heard this, her hostility towards David decreased

As a bystander, she had been observing the interaction between David and

Rachel

She looked like she wanted to say something but didn’t because of Rachel’s presence

I’m going to the washroom,Rachel said

Mary asked, Do you want me to go with you?”

Rachel shook her head. I’ll be back soon.”

When the door closed, Mary changed her joking attitude and looked at David seriously. She said bluntly, Mr. Jones, I don’t know how deep your feelings for RaeRae are, but as an outsider, I don’t think highly of your relationship.”

Before you, she had a boyfriend who had been in love with her for three

years. The two of them were together through thick and thin. It wasn’t easy for them to enter the wedding hall, but that man still abandoned her in the end. Although I don’t know what you did to win RaeRae’s heart, I want to say that since you chose her, please don’t do anything to hurt her.”

This girl is so silly that it makes one’s heart ache. If others treat her well, she would want to repay them with all her heart. She looks cold on the outside. But she’s very fragile on the inside. The more she cares about something, the more she pretends she doesn’t care. Therefore, please don’t be deceived by her cold appearance. Please don’t let her down.”

David said, Thank you for telling me this.
