Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 409
Rachel quickly chased after him.
When the other party heard her footsteps, he could not help but quicken
his pace.
When Rachel caught up, she only saw the silver–gray Koenigsegg speeding past her like a bolt of lightning.
The car window slowly rolled up, and Rachel could vaguely see a face, most of which was hidden in the shadows.
The man had long, light golden hair, and his amber eyes were filled with melancholy.
He had an angelic appearance but demonic viciousness.
The man in the car stared at Rachel’s eye–catching face through the rearview mirror. His lips curled into a meaningful smile.
When the car completely disappeared from her sight, Rachel gradually came back to her senses.
She returned to her mother’s tombstone and stood quietly until her legs were numb.
Before she left, she went to retrieve the surveillance videos around the tombstone.
The man had a super strong anti–reconnaissance ability and avoided all the surveillance areas.
In other words, if she had not happened to appear today, she would not have known that such a person would visit her mother.
On the way, Rachel received a call from David. “Where are you?”
His tense voice was filled with unconcealable nervousness.
“I’m at…”

Before Rachel could finish speaking, an ear–piercing whistle suddenly sounded.
Immediately after, there was a deafening sound.
Rachel felt the world spin before her eyes. Then, she blacked out.
When Rachel woke up, the sky had already darkened.
The room was dimly lit, and she could smell the faint smell of disinfectant in the air.
She stared blankly at the ceiling and finally realized why she was at the hospital.
As she was thinking, a strange sound came from the door of the ward.
She looked up and saw David striding in.
Against the light, his tall shadow was reflected on the floor with a sense of oppression.
“Are you dizzy?” David sat on the edge of the bed and gently pushed the hair away from her face.
Rachel looked at him and shook her head gently.
The next second, she was pulled into David’s arms, and he hugged her tightly.
He was so strong as if he wanted to rub her into his body.
His head was buried in the crook of her neck. His breath skimmed over her neck.
Rachel sensed David’s nervousness. She slowly raised her hand and caressed his back. She said gently, “I’m fine. Don’t be afraid.”
The two of them did not interact much, nor did they do anything intimate. They just hugged quietly like this, but it made Rachel feel like her heart was warm.
After a long time, David took out a new phone and handed it to her. “The previous phone is broken. Use this in the future.”

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
