Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 412
Rachel thought she was hallucinating.
At this moment, she heard a voice coming from the bedroom.
A chill rose from the bottom of her feet and quickly spread to her limbs and bones. The blood in her body instantly froze.
Rachel tried her best to control the panic in her heart. She casually grabbed the baseball bat hidden in the shoe cabinet and slowly approached the bedroom.
At this moment, Rachel’s phone suddenly rang. It was a call from David.
“You’re not at the office?”
“Yeah,” Rachel replied.
Her almond–shaped eyes were cold as she stared fixedly at the bedroom. Her steps forward slowly changed to retreat.
If Rachel was still planning to capture the other party alive, she was much sober the moment she received David’s call.
Finally, she had the reaction that a normal person should have.
When faced with danger, the first thing she should think about was not how to face it, but how to cleverly dodge and ensure that she would not be harmed at all.
“Wait for me for a moment. I’ll be right down. Yes, very soon.“.
As she spoke, she picked up her things and left.

The moment she went out, she quickly ran to the elevator. “David, someone broke into my apartment!”
She did not realize that her voice was trembling uncontrollably.
David was picking roses from the florist.
When he heard Rachel’s words, his handsome face seemed to be covered in a layer of frost. “Go to a crowded place immediately and wait for me to find you!”
After hanging up, he got into the car.
The half–hour drive only took ten minutes.
Even so, it did not dispel the uneasiness in the depths of his heart.
He gripped the steering wheel tightly and sped up.
When David arrived, Rachel had already contacted the nearby police to investigate.
After some investigation, nothing was missing from the room, so there was no way to make a record of it.
After sending the police off, David walked to Rachel’s side and held her cold hand. “Do you want some water?”
“Mm.” Rachel nodded.
David handed her a cup of warm water. After pondering for a moment, he suddenly said, “Rae–Rae, can you go with me?”
“Where are we going?” Rachel subconsciously blurted out.
She looked up and met David’s dark eyes. She suddenly understood the meaning behind his words.
The point of going with him was not to go anywhere, but to be with him.
Seeing that Rachel did not reply for a long time, David had a faint smile. “This place is not safe enough. How about temporarily staying at Sandalwood Hills?”
This was David’s biggest concession.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
