Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 476

Chapter 476

David turned and got into the car. At the same time, he ordered again, “Send someone to keep an eye on Marina Jones!”

In the car, Billy Jones replied, “Yes, sir!”

What happened tonight was really strange.

Miss Grey’s existence should have been completely hidden. No one knew how the news got leaked. They had actually found out about Miss Grey’s identity and secretly set up an ambush in Johnson’s Mansion.

However, what Billy found most unbelievable was that David had personally executed those involved.

All these years, David had not dirtied his hands for a long time, but things clearly. went out of control tonight.

After sending David back to Sandalwood Hills, Eddie and Billy were in no hurry to leave.

Instead, they sat in the car and silently lit cigarettes.

“Do you think those people tonight were really sent by the Elders?” Despite his rough appearance, Billy was sharp.

Eddie took a long drag off his cigarette and puffed white smoke slowly out of his mouth. “No matter who sent them, Mr. Jones was undoubtedly making an example out of them tonight, warning them to mind their own business.”

All these years, the Elders had been eyeing David covetously. They had probed many times, wanting to gather power.

However, they were afraid of Mr. Jones’s methods, so they bid their time for the past few years.

Now that they had learned about Miss Grey’s existence, they would only be the more unwilling to give up this opportunity to manipulate him.

“Furthermore, Marina Jones has been using the Elders’ name to scheme against Mr. Jones behind his back all these years.” The white smoke made the air around them hazy and lingered in front of Eddie’s face. His lips curled into a

thought-provoking smile. “No matter who sent them this time, it’s enough to make them suspicious.”

After all, no one was willing to be the scapegoat for offending Mr. Jones, right?

Billy had his cigarette in the corner of his mouth. He looked at the thick night sky outside the window and sighed deeply.

Regardless of whether their true motive was to attack Rachel or not, Mr. Jones’s attitude was clear enough.
