Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 611

Chapter 611

Jimmy looked at Rachel, who was busy in the kitchen alone. Jimmy could not help but ask from the bottom of his heart, “Do you really know how to cook, Rachel?”

Someone like Rachel, who had never done any housework, probably could not even differentiate between salt and

sugar.

Therefore, Jimmy seriously suspected that Rachel would serve some terrible dishes.

David put down the glass in his hand, removed the diamond cuffs on his sleeves, and slowly rolled up his sleeves. “It’s your greatest honor to be able to eat her cooking.”

Upon hearing this, Jimmy did not show any joy on his face. Instead, Jimmy began to pray silently in his heart.

David glanced at Jimmy expressionlessly before walking into the kitchen.

“Do you want to cut the vegetables? I’ll help you.

Rachel did not look up. Instead, Rachel picked out the washed vegetables. “I can do it myself. It seems like I was not thoughtful enough and forgot to invite them.”

“Invite them to kill the mood?” David walked over, picked up the kitchen knife, and cut the vegetables in an orderly manner.

Rachel looked at David.

The man was tall and well-built. David standing in the kitchen made the kitchen seem narrow and cramped.

Even though he was cutting vegetables, David still exuded a natural elegance. David’s every move was pleasing to the eye.

Sensing Rachel’s gaze, David turned to look at her. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Rachel smiled and shook her head.

With the help of David, three dishes and a soup were quickly placed on the dining table.

“By the way, there’s also the cake I made,” Rachel said as she turned around and walked toward the fridge.

As Rachel turned around, the hem of her dress flipped over the box that David had placed at the corner of the table.

The box fell to the ground and everything inside spilled out.

The light was dim, so Rachel could not see clearly the squarish thing on the ground for a moment. However, Rachel subconsciously squatted down to pick it up.

However, when Rachel touched the aluminum film and saw the words on it, she immediately blushed. Her fair face was so red that it looked like blood was about to drip from it.

The thing on Rachel’s fingertips seemed to become extremely hot. Rachel suddenly shook it off as if it burned her.

Rachel clenched her skirt tightly in embarrassment. “Um, I suddenly remembered that I have something to do. You guys eat first.”

With that, Rachel blushed and fled.

When David returned to the bedroom, he could vaguely see the curve under the blanket.

David frowned slightly, revealing a trace of dissatisfaction.

Because of the appearance of Jimmy and Landon, the previous hot and ambiguous atmosphere was broken.

Although he felt an evil fire jumping up and down in his body, David did not pester Rachel to vent his desire.

Instead, David went to the bathroom to wash up as usual.

However, when he returned to bed, David realized that Rachel was tightly wrapped in the blanket.

“Aren’t you hot when you’re wrapped up so tightly?” David looked down at Rachel who was wrapped up like a spring roll.

Rachel’s eyes flickered slightly. “It’s not hot.”

David stared at Rachel with his dark eyes. “Rae-Rae, are you hiding something from me?”

This woman had never been good at lying.

Every time Rachel lied, her ears would turn red, and her eyes would become erratic.

Rachel pursed her lips stiffly. “I’m sleepy. Turn off the lights and go to sleep.”

Rachel regretted wearing the s*xy lingerie that Mary had bought on impulse.

This lingerie could not cover anything at all and could not be shown to others.

Rachel felt that she must have gone crazy!
