That raised Barbara's ire. She raised her hand to slap Nina. But Nina caught Barabar's wrist mid-air. Barbara and Silas are stunned to see this side of Nina.

The Nina they know and the Nina standing in front of them is completely different. The old Nina wouldn't have dared to stop Barbara or even raised her voice against her stepmother or step brother. But this Nina is behaving as if she is possessed.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Barbara" Nina said evenly, without looking as if she is losing her composure unlike the others.

Silas couldn't take the way Nina is disregarding and disrespecting them in front of everyone.

"Nina, don't forget that she is your mother. Is this the way you respect your elders? No wonder Mr. Morrison is divorcing you. Who would want to spend their life with a woman like you?" Silas insulted Nina.

He is angry that he is losing face in front of his fiancee and her family.

"Why are you worried about my married life Silas? That's between me and Theo. You don't have a right to interfere in between us" Nina reminded him coldly. What she said is true. Her personal life is her business. No one has a say in it.

Chelsea snorted sarcastically.

"Oh really? Nina, what are you trying to hide? Are you trying to hide the fact that Theo doesn't like you? Or that you didn't push Senior Mrs. Agatha Morrison? He is your brother, your family. If he doesn't control you from acting willfully, then who will?" Chelsea supported Silas while trying to put Nina on the spot.

Nina is angry. She should have put Chelsea in her place the first time when Theo first accused Nina of hurting Chelsea. But she ignored it and did not pursue the matter thinking that it might be a misunderstanding. Moreover, Chelsea is a dear friend to Theo, so Nina didn't dare to upset Chelsea.

Now, as the accusations began to grow and her misunderstanding with Theo became a mountain, Nina was desperate to please him to win his favour. But that back fired every single time. He used to barely look at her. His resentment only grew to the point that he decided to divorce her. Now Nina had enough of their bullying.

But still you created your version of wild tales portraying me as a villain in your story. When in fact you are the bad guy here. Let's just for a second believe that I did everything you accused me with. So what? You were coming between me and my husband, so what's wrong if I retaliated? Who wouldn't?
