So, I brought fresh food since you might not have the appetite to eat earlier." Paige suddenly spoke before Rose could ask her what she was doing with the tray after she placed it on the table.

“Oh, I see. Thank you for that, Aunty." Rose scratched the back of her head awkwardly and smiled at Paige. She was the only one who had noticed that she hadn't eaten her food.

“What about my father and Stepmother?" She asked.

“The Master has left to the company and both Madam and the second young miss have just left the mansion as well.” Paige replied.

Rose nodded her head at the news, it's a good thing was the only one at home. Of course, she knew Beatrice had gone out to go and mend her cracked reputation among the other women while Sophia had gone out to hang out with her friends from other rich families as well.
