“Sophia, your sister isn't lying against you right?" William asked , looking at the pale looking Sophia.
" It was a mistake, father. I forgot to Inform sister when I was leaving.” Sophia replied, since she was caught off guard by Rose, she didn't know which excuse to come up with and just admitted it.
" How can you do that , Sophia? You know something bad could have happened to your sister, she was your responsibility at that moment and you should have taken better care of her. Now I understand why your sister wants her own car.” William readily scolded Sophia. Even though he didn't mean it he had because Rose was sitting with them.
Sophia couldn't help but lower her head when she heard her father. She just clenched her fist under the table and blamed everything on Rose.
" Honey, don't blame Sophia. She is still young and isn't used to both her and Rose going out.” Unable to watch her daughter being scolded by her husband, she quickly interrupts them.
“Um….. father. Mother is right, and since I came back home safely there isn't need to scold Sophia. And I'm not mad at her. I didn't request for a car because of that but if it's about getting me a car as a gift that might cause a problem, I can just ask for other things.” Rose also added, since she had already gotten what she wanted.
After hearing Rose, William calmed down and everything went back to normal. Before everyone was done eating, Rose dropped her spoon saying she was full and headed to her room. Everyone could tell that she had barely touched her food but said nothing.
Somewhere in Los Angeles.
The Anderson family mansion which was located almost in the outskirts of the city.
In a spacious and large study room of the Anderson mansion. An elderly old man in his seventies was sitting on the black leather chair behind. He had a complete dark expression on his face as he stared at the image on his computer. Earlier today, his men had called and informed him about something that was going on at the Gray mansion.
The image he was staring at was none other than the image of Roseline walking out of R’s Boutique she had visited today. The old man was not too bothered about the fact that she was walking out of the boutique, instead he had his attention focused on the face of the little girl that looked so much like dead niece- Ruby Walker.
Just as he was staring at the laptop screen, the door to his study room opened and an old man dressed in butler suit with a tray on his hand walked in, he looked to be around the same age as the old man sitting behind the desk walked in.
