Born Almighty Warrior novel Chapter 942

"All of you, go to hell!"

Norris said in a menacing tone, as killing intent flowed profusely from his body. The bloody aura that oozed from him was enough to stop the people in their tracks.

"Leslie, can you recognize the center of the array?" Ricky asked through their telepathic link.

"Ricky, this array is different from other complicated arrays. It has no lines on it, but it is gathered by the evil spirit power of the four spiritual emperors from the Nether Manor and exorbitant amounts of blood," explained Leslie, although his tone sounded tired and confused. He had extensive knowledge of complicated arrays, but this array was throwing him for a loop.

"I can think of only one way to break it. Let's overwhelm it with power!"

"Is that so?" Ricky asked though he was talking mostly to himself. He turned to the Evil Mandragora then, with a pensive expression on his face.

"Evil Mandragora, are you sure you can do it?" Ricky asked worriedly.

"Honestly, I'm not sure. If I'm strong enough, I could find a way out, but the power of this array is far beyond me," the Evil Mandragora answered, as she shook her head in dismay.

"If I gave you the divine power, can you resist it?" Ricky asked lowly. They were in a tremendously difficult situation now, because he hadn't expected the Nether Manor to be so prepared against them. If it hadn't been for the Evil Mandragora's help, they would have died already. At the rate they had been going, it would be impossible to force out the Nether Manor's trump card.

"Ricky, the divine power is remarkably powerful, but I'm not a holy being, so I can't recover quickly with its help. But if I get enough blood, I can recover instantly," she answered with a hesitant smile because she knew that Ricky couldn't provide what she needed.

"Blood? Where would I find blood for you? Even if I have blood, I won't sacrifice innocent people just to survive!" Ricky retorted in surprise at her requirement, but the Evil Mandragora just shook her head at him as if he was a child that couldn't understand how the world truly worked.

"In the law of the jungle, there is no such thing as killing without good reason. Look at the creatures you saved. They are grateful to you but only for a short while. After that, they will only see you as a traitor who colluded with the devils," the Evil Mandragora calmly explained.

"You should live for yourself and for the person you need to protect, and free yourself from the burden of other people's opinions. As the saying goes, one can do anything for the ones he cares."

"I may not be a good person, and sometimes I also like the feeling of killing, but I will never kill without a purpose," Ricky said. "So there is no way for you to absorb the blood of innocent creatures."

"Well, in that case, there's nothing I can do about it," she answered at once and shrugged her shoulders, resigned at Ricky's stubbornness.

"The girl who signed the bonding contract with me should be the daughter of a holy being. Creatures on the continent can't kill her, and I can protect myself. So we are safe anyway. As for others, I'm afraid I can't help save them without blood. Please don't blame me for that."

"I will not blame you. Don't worry. I will give the divine power to Hannah before I die. It should be enough for her to become a real holy being with your support," Ricky assured her in a soft voice.

"Thank you. But this time, there's really nothing I can do." The Evil Mandragora sounded faint, moved by Ricky's thoughtfulness despite their beliefs that continuously clashed.

"Ricky, I just talked with Doris' mutant," Tina suddenly interrupted. "I have a way to break the Grand Seal Array of Four Devils."

"Tina, say that again!" Ricky cried out loud, eager to find some hope in their despair.

"It's very simple. Just let Evil Mandragora devour the power of Doris' mutant. Doris is at the Saint Level, and just a part of her mutant is strong enough for Evil Mandragora to recover to her peak state," Tina explained, but the more that she spoke, the more apprehensive Ricky was. It was doable, but would it be a good method?

"What? That won't work. It will show great disrespect to Doris," Ricky immediately said.

"Ricky, death means nothing. We don't want to die, yes, but we can't let the Evil Mandgragora devour the blood of other creatures just to save us. With this plan, we will just lose one mutant of Doris, so don't refuse this suggestion. Please!" Tina insisted.

"All right. Tina, you and Doris will save my life again!" Ricky finally agreed.
