Chapter 5 Escape
Rejoyla had planned to escape as soon as he left, so her smile froze.
"Aunt Rejoyla?"
Hearing him raise his ending voice to express his impatience, she immediately nodded, "I see! I won't leave."
Jason deeply stared at her until she felt so cold and frighted that she almost told him the truth. Then, he walked out. Rejoyla leaned on the window. After seeing the black Land Rover run out, she felt relieved and lazily lay on the tatami in front of the bed. This was Jason's villa in East City. He must have brought her here after she had passed out last night. And they used to live here before.
Looking around, she found it was still the pastoral style she liked. Even the pink sheet with lace on the bed was the one she had bought. But after a close look, she found it was new. Did Jason always buy the same sheets?
Lying on the bed, she stared blankly. She could not deceive herself anymore. She still loved that bastard, although it was hard to accept the fact. If he had forced her, she would have been able to persuade herself to regard it as if being bitten by a dog. Anyway, she had been bitten before. But she knew very well in her heart that she was willing and even felt secretly happy to sleep with him again.
Rejoyla couldn't help yelling. Then, she clenched her fists and slammed them hard on the bed. Of course, it did not hurt. Then, she gritted her teeth and swore, "I'm going on a blind date! I'm going to date. I will leave this pervert to Louisa!"
At the thought of Louisa, Rejoyla could not help feeling aggrieved and angry. Jason loved Louisa and dated Rejoyla because she looked like her. It was the shame of her life because Louisa's existence had severely hurt her self-esteem. But the most ridiculous part of the matter was that Louisa did not know her existence at all. How pathetic she was!
Rejoyla burst into tears, and the bitter tears flowed from her eyes to her heart. She pressed her throbbing left chest and forced a smile, murmuring, "There are many fish in the sea. I'm sure I can find a better man. Jason, you have no right to humiliate me like this!"
All the employees of the LJ Group were happy today because the cold air that had shrouded the company for a long time had miraculously disappeared. The assistant to the president felt the happiest because Mr. Sterling was smiling all day long. He could not even believe his eyes because he used to think Mr. Sterling did not know how to smile.
Jason's good mood lasted until he returned home. Looking around the empty villa, he immediately became gloomy, and his eyes turned red. Then, he threw the coffee table beside him away. The loud noise lasted until the villa was almost destroyed. After venting his anger, he gradually calmed down. Otherwise, he might go to strangle Rejoyla to death.
