Can't Let Go novel Chapter 104

The black umbrella overhead blocked the rain. Linda looked up miserably and suddenly saw a pair of gentle eyes.

"Linda, what's wrong?"

"Brother George..."

Though Linda was puzzled, she still called him subconsciously.

"The rain is heavy. What are you doing here? Go, get on the car!" George Mo held her to the car.

When he just now passed by, he saw a familiar woman who was standing dully in the rain, not knowing what to do.

The state of Linda made him ignore the no-parking signal, just stopped the car and directly ran to her with umbrella.

Linda had not come to the car yet, cars behind his kept making hasty horns with some swear.

George Mo leaned over to apologize, then opened the co-pilot seat and strapped her in.

Quickly, he drove away.

Drops of rain hit the window of car and the clicking sound drew Linda back.

"I send you to Huo's residence?" He asked her.

"No..."

She answered dully.

Mo George was a little surprised for her refusal. So he held the steering wheel and looked at her, "where do you want to go?"

Linda looked outside again and then said lightly, "I wanna go back to Phoenix City!"

Phoenix City!

Now?

George Mo didn't say anything but turned the car at the front of the road.

That's the necessary crossing to the highway.

For Michael Huo, he drove fast around the place where Linda had just left, but didn't see her.

"Joe Guo, tell me where she is in five minutes!" He was in stark gloomy and the whole face looked more gloomy than the cloudy sky.

After the phone of Michael Huo, Joe Guo investigated the location of Linda quickly.

Michael Huo parked by the roadside, and opened the window to smoke irritably.

At the time, two beautiful young women talked at the back of the luxury car with an umbrella.

Then, they bravely came over and smiled, "hey, we come here to play from other places. We didn't expect the heavy rain. Could you please give us a ride?"

Standing on the intersection, these two women attracted many attention from others in the luxury cars for they looked like online celebrity.

And the point was, the voice of them was cheesy.

One of them asked softly, "hey, have a WeChat?"

"Piss off!" Michael Huo furiously and ruthlessly shouted without seeing them.

Suddenly, the two women went stunned for his words.

So fierce!

In the luxury car, the phone rang.

Michael Huo picked it up.

"President Huo, Mrs. Huo was on the highway to Phoenix City. And the driver is George Mo!" Joe Guo said worriedly.

Hearing this, Michael Huo hang up the phone immediately.

Then, the car sped up, leaving the two women splashed with water, being in terrible state.

----

Two hours later.

Reaching Phoenix City.

It's not raining here but the weather was as gloomy as in Austral City.

Standing in front of the house she used to live in, Linda was totally stunned.

Where was the house?

Where was her home?

Why is it a vegetable garden here?

"Linda, you come back?" The auntie next door greeted.

"Aunt Wang, where is the house? Why did it disappear!" Linda was anxious.

At first, she sold the house with a contract requiring it not to be demolished anyway.

Because, she could buy it back at any time.

But now, where was the house?

Where was her home?

"Oh. Isn't it you who let the man put down the house?" Aunt Wang was a little strange about her question, "but why didn't you build a new one? I saw it's empty here so I grew some vegetables. Well, are you going to build a new house now?"

Linda didn't reply but clenching her hands tightly.

Mary Yun!

It must be Mary Yun.

Mary Yun wanted her to have nothing to miss!

"Linda, are you OK?" Aunt Wang felt she was wrong and couldn't help asking.

Linda again didn't answer but left directly.

"Sorry, Aunt Wang." George Mo then followed Linda up.

Aunt Wang frowned. Oh. The man was so familiar.

Linda rushed to the back of a mountain, which was the favorite place when she was a child.

There was a big poplar tree here. Standing here, she could see high, and her voice could be transmitted far.

So it's also her 'secret garden'.

She ran to the top of the hill, gasped for a few moments and screamed, "why treat me like this? Why destroied my house? How much do you hate me?"

George Mo just stood behind her, not going forward for he didn't know how to calm her down.

Suddenly, Linda sat on the ground, holding her own arms to cry out.

Why...

Why was it going like this?

Slowly, George Mo walked over to sit down and freely picked up a dandelion to her.

"Well, I remember you like this when you're a child."

Linda looked up and watched the hairy dandelion for a moment.

"I remember you ever said, once you're not happy, you'll blow the dandelion into the sky to blow all worries away!" George Mo smiled gently.

Linda took the dandelion and blew it slowly.

The white tomenta flew with the breeze.

All of a sudden, she smiled faintly.

This smile let George Mo saw a little hope.

"Linda, let's go abroad!"

He invited again without restraining himself.

Linda stunned, just looking at him.

George Mo turned to look at her and grabbed her hands, "divorce with Michael Huo, go with me, OK?"

Linda frowned, slowly handed back.

She had promised...

But Mary...

She didn't plan to tell the truth.
