Can't Let Go novel Chapter 105

At six o'clock in the evening.

In a local restaurant in Phoenix City.

There were three people sitting on a round table in a box.

The atmosphere was awkward.

George Mo didn't think about that Michael Huo would catch up Linda here.

However, since that, George Mo felt Michael Huo cared more about Linda than he imagined!

Linda was fond of having food in this restaurant.

Before, Xiao Kui would take her to eat here every time when she came back from Austral City.

And sometimes, Patricia Bai would take Linda here after she had salary happily.

Here, for Linda, it's not just good taste.

But more memories.

Linda ordered several home cooking with two signature dishes to the waiter.

"Well, please wait a moment!" The waitress has never seen such a good-looking man, but this time, she saw two.

So the waitress looked back frequently and left reluctantly.

Michael Huo looked at George Mo profoundly.

On the contrary, George said with a carefree smile, “It never came to me that you would come here. I should’ve treated you to another fancier restaurant but Linda likes here unexpectedly. She is effectively saving money for her poor brother!”

Brother…

It was not just Michael Huo who was shocked.

But also Linda.

Linda looked at George Mo in amazement and frowned without knowing what to say.

George Mo smiled bitterly but he didn't want to be felt by anyone else.

From the moment he mistook Linda for Mary, he seemed to have lost the ability to compete with Michael Huo.

Now, he only wanted to protect Linda and make her happy.

Hearing the words, Michael Huo hooked lips and smiled with less hostility in his eyes.

"If Linda likes, wherever is fine."

"You can get used to this? You're a president..." Linda was not pleasant so she said in a weird tone.

Michael Huo smied unexpectedly, "don't you know I'm used to or not, do you?"

An unclear sentence made the atmosphere even more embarrassing.

Linda stared at Michael Huo angrily. What did he say?

George Mo coughed softly, "I go to see whether the dishes are ready or not!"

With that, he stood up and went out.

"Michael Huo!" As soon as George Mo left, Linda could not help complained.

"Ah!"He smiled and looked over, "what's the matter?"

Linda looked at his laughing and didn't know what to say for a while.

"He...is going to be your brother?" He raised his eyebrows.

Linda didn't wanna pay attention to him, so she drank tea herself.

"Actually, then this brother is really good!"

"Puh..." Sorry, this was the first time Linda had been so impolite to have failed withholding the laughter.

She looked at him in astonishment, with tea slipped down of lips.

Michael Huo, just called George Mo...

Brother?

Whether he knew the shame or not, he was so much older than George Mo!

Michael Huo watched Linda soulfully. He rolled Adam's apple and eyes shined deeply.

Then, he stretched out thumb to gently wipe the trace of tea by her lips...

Linda was shocked by his ambiguous action and forgot to respond for a moment.

And just then, George Mo opened the door.

"Oh, dishes come?" Michael Huo smiled, sat well and looked at the waiter behind him.

George Mo felt ached faintly seeing the interaction between Michael Huo and Linda.

Linda busily tightened herself, bowed in a silent embarrassment.

"Well, dishes. Dishes come." George Mo walked in with smile.

The following waiter brought up the dishes naturally.

On the table, Linda was complicated.

And George Mo lost his appetite.

However, Michael Huo felt good and took the lead in putting some food for Linda, "it looks good. Have a try."

Then,he looked at George Mo, "have food."

Also, he took a bite of the dish himself and ate it gracefully.

Linda could not help looking at him.

Here was a small restaurant and those who came to eat were almost migrant workers.

It was hard for her to imagine a man of noble status sitting in this narrow box, gracefully eating ordinary household dishes.

George Mo looked at Linda and found that she was looking at Michael Huo.

Looking down, he smiled faintly, and then picked up the tea beside him and drank it.

The dinner lasted about an hour.

But as a matter of fact, each of them had their own thoughts and didn't eat much.

After dinner, Michael Huo actively invited George Mo to have a drink with him.

George Mo agreed with him.

But at the same, they didn't allow Linda to participate.

Linda was unpleasant, for she always felt that they had something to say.

They sent her directly to the hotel.

"This is the room card. You're tired today. Take a rest early. I go out to have a drink with him. Take it easy. He'll not be drunk." George Mo came over and handed the room card to her as soon as he got it from the front desk.

During the dinner, he had already booked two suites in the largest hotel of Phoenix City.

Though he was very uncomfortable about this reservation.

But he did so.

He always wanted to think more for her.

They had cars so they could drive back at any time, but it took at least two hours.

In Phoenix City, it rained in the afternoon, and until now, it has not stopped.
