Can't Let Go novel Chapter 208

Duoduo’s death brought Linda Yun a huge strike.

She passed out several times, which terrified every one.

Debra Huo then helped his uncle and aunt bury his big brother.

When the people went to the cemetery again, they were all sad.

Linda Yun was lying in Michael Huo’s arms. The man was holding an umbrella. It was drizzling.

Which made the cemetery look more full of sorrow.

Jennifer Huo was sad, too, and she had cried many times and passed out many times.

This time she came with Richard Qu helping her with a wheelchair.

These three days, she got thinner quickly and her eyes which used to be beautiful became gloomy.

It seemed that Richard Qu got much older. He was looking at Duoduo in the photo, and his eyes were still.

Their eyes looked terrible and made people feel pretty sympathetic.

“Let’s go!” Michael Huo was holding Linda Yun and he felt the delicateness of the woman in his arms.

Linda Yun was staring at the photo on the tomb stone, finally, she left with tears.

When people got back to the Huo’s again, Linda Yun made an excuse that she was tired for getting upstairs.

“I am going to check on your mom.” Michael Huo was worried and followed.

“Brother!” Jennifer Huo called his name and slowly stood up from her wheelchair, saying, “Let me go and see her!|

Hearing this, many people looked at her.

These days, everyone felt that there was some kind of misunderstanding between her and Linda Yun.

And this misunderstanding came from Duoduo’s big brother.

Now, she asked to go to see her on her own initiative, which shocked everyone.

Because the moment when big brother died, she was shouting angrily. She shouted that why he would come to the Austral City and get her son killed.

She was extremely sad and angry, roaring.

Everybody saw her sadness and rage at that moment.

However, no one complained about her words, though.

Because everyone felt her pain.

Michael Huo looked at his sister. A few seconds later, he nodded and said, “OK!”

Jennifer Huo gave a smile with a bad grace and then went upstairs.

Laura Su pulled Debra Huo’ hand anxiously.

Debra Huo looked sideways at her and noticed some worry in her eyes which was pretty thick, so he smiled and patted her hand to comfort her.

He believed that her aunt would handle the thing well.

---

At the room.

Linda Yun was on her bed, holding Duoduo’s photo album.

Every year, when they met, she would take many pictures together with him.

“Knock, knock, knock.” The door was knocked and sounded.

Then, Jennifer Huo opened the door and walked in.

Linda Yun saw her, stunned.

“Sister-in-law.”

She called her gently.

Then, she came up to her and looked at the photo album in her hands.

Linda Yun hurriedly closed up the photo album and looked at her with sadness filled with her eyes. She smiled reluctantly and said, “You are not staying at the Austral City for a little longer? Richard Qu told me that you are leaving tonight?”

“No.” She smiled faintly and looked at her, saying, “Sister-in-law, I’m sorry!”

Linda Yun frowned but she didn’t say anything, then she started to say, “I am selfish all this time. Before you came to my house, I have already been selfish. I like to get want I want and I like others to flatter me and then you changed me. You made me restrain myself, but I had no idea that so many things would happened later......”

“Back then, I, as George Mo said, was stubborn, selfish. I wanted to get Duoduo for love. There was no kindness in my eyes and I could not imagine that it was difficult for you to raise him. I was trying to prove that me being with Richard Qu was also normal and we could also have our child, but I had no idea that this had hurt you deeply......”

“Later, because of your kindness, you let Duoduo leave with us abroad...... I should have thank you, but......”

She lowered her head with her hands holding the lower hem of her clothes, saying, “But, I was envious at you. I was jealous that you were so important to Duoduo, even though we took him abroad, I could still feel that his alienating from us. No matter what we tried, there was always a gap that lay between us......”

“Then, you got a baby and Duoduo started to get familiar with us, but, I knew that you were important to him......” Saying, she smiled bitterly, “He knew that he could still hang on for a while if he didn’t come a long way here, but he was willing to come back without hesitation. He wanted to see you. He...... said......”

Linda Yun looked at her and began to sob, frowning.

“He said...... that even if he would die, he would like to die in front of her mom......” she was sobbing, “His mom......the one he always loved was you......”

Linda Yun was biting her lips and didn’t say anything, but her tears were out of control.

“Last night, we have talked a lot. And it was the first time for me to know his true idea. He knew more about himself than us. He said that if he didn’t go to see uncle George, he would not have the chance...... He was hanging on, till the last moment he could see that man......” Jennifer Huo began to tremble and said, “I wanted to say no, I was even thinking selfishly that if he didn’t go to see George Mo, would he be still alive......”

Linda Yun,......

“But I couldn’t do that at last. I was afraid......that if I didn’t agree him on seeing George Mo, he would die regret......”

Saying, she got more and more excited, saying, “That morning he woke up. He looked better than before and he looked like a normal man, but I knew......I knew that it was just a dead-cat bounce......At the cemetery......I already......knew that we were losing him......”

She kept crying and said, “I don’t want to leave, but I know that he wanted to speak to you and to George Mo. He wanted to say something that only three of you should know......”
