Can't Let Go novel Chapter 85

It was 10 o'clock sharp in the night.

During this month, Michael Huo had almost been declining appointments every night.

He would accompany her for the time he had saved.

At this moment, Mary Yun had taken a bath and sat on the bed, looking extremely nervous.

She took a book that Linda Yun normally placed on the bedside, pretending to be reading while looking at the toilet from time to time.

  Had he finished it yet?

  Would he touch her tonight?

What could she do to make it real?

Right, she couldn't let him take off her bra no matter what tonight.

Otherwise, the scar on her chest...

  But...

  How could she conceal it?

Her hands pulled the clothes at her chest uneasily.

She used to have a heart transplant, and the scar couldn't be seen from afar since the up-to-date technology in America was adopted there.

But there were somehow marks by taking a close look.

Therefore, for safety's sake, she could never take off her bra...

Then, had Linda Yun taken her clothes off every night?

What did they do on the bed every night?

At this moment, uneasiness, agitation and restlessness in mind made it impossible for her to breathe.

Just at this moment, the sound of water in the bathroom had finally stopped.

Promptly, Mary Yun was suffocated out of fear. She held the book nervously.

Michael Huo walked out of the bathroom. He wrapped his lower body with a bath towel habitually, held a short white towel and wiped his hair randomly.

But it was just this casual movement that made him so handsome and seductive...

  Mary Yun's heart was thumping.

Seeing that she was reading a book as usual, he smiled in a charming way. He threw away the towel, and presently jumped at her. He looked at her with deep and enchanting eyes, "Beware! There will be something wrong with your eyesight if you keep reading books all day long."

She didn't speak. She was in a daze looking at the handsome face which she had been dreaming about day and night and was now so near her.

"You are in a trance again. What are you thinking about?" He reached out his hand and flipped her forehead with a smile.

She hastened to twitch the corner of her mouth, and forced herself to be quiet, "No...nothing, get away from me, you are pressing on me..."

He smiled, turned over his body, raised the quilt, and then, he became stuck with her, "Last night, when I pressed on you, you were so happy."

On hearing it, her body was a little rigid.

  Last night...

  Pressing...

  Happy?

These words were like a sudden clap of thunder, hacking her heart.

Damn it! Wasn't Linda Yun playing hard to get him?

Why would she go to bed with him?

On thinking about it, she went mad and was unable to reconcile herself.

Therefore, she put the book on her bedside, and presently lay down.

Now that they had just made love last night.

  Then...

Would they make love again tonight?

Seeing her lie down, he also lay down so to hug her. He said with a smile at the corner of his mouth, "Do you have an answer to the question I asked you last time?"

  She was stunned, what question?

"What are you thinking about?" He inquired on seeing that she remained silent.

She was a little scared. She hastened to say in a low voice, "I'm a little tired, let's talk about it tomorrow."

On seeing it, he held her in his arms, "OK, I'll sleep with you in my arms."

She was totally sleepless being hugged by him.

She didn't know what question they had discussed about.

  What should she do now?

But she wanted to get him now.

Only by getting him could she prove her success.

She breathed in deeply, and suddenly turned off the bedside lamp.

Presently, she turned around, and hugged him, burying her body in his arms.

He was astounded by her movement, and then, he lifted up her lower jaw, "What's up?"

She was a little scared of letting slip her secret. She hastened to hug him tightly and said in a dull voice, "Let me hug you for a while, shall I?"

He didn't move, and knitted his eyebrows a little bit.

"Today I went to my Mom's cemetery..."

She seemed to have perceived that the man's body was a little rigid, and immediately said.

She knew that she could justify herself with these words whatever anomaly she met with.

"Have you been to the cemetery?" As expected, he hastened to look at her and inquired, "Why didn't you tell me?"

She hastened to put on a sad look and hold him. She whimpered, "I just want to have a talk with her one on one..."

Such a voice and aggrieved feelings made him feel a little sorry for her with no reason.

He reached out his hand and lifted her face up lightly. Then, he said in a soft voice, "Next time, I'll go with you, OK?"

She didn't speak. She looked at him with red eyes.

  She was not moved.

  She was jealous.

She was jealous because she wondered why he was so nice to Linda Yun.

But she didn't know that her red eyes meant she felt wronged to Michael Huo.

"Don't cry." He hastened to wipe away tears for her, "Sorry, I'm not doing well all the time. Although we've been married for such a long time, I have never visited her with you..."

Mary Yun felt even more aggrieved being hugged by him.

"Tingchen..." She called him in a low voice.

"Well?" The man held her in his arms and replied.

"Let's stop making a scene in the future, shall we?" She knew that Linda Yun had always been on bad terms with him.

But if she succeeded in disguising herself, naturally, she had to keep on playing the role.

Now, to break the ice was the top priority.

  "OK."

On hearing it, he was happy without reason.

Mary Yun immediately looked up at him affectionately on hearing his answer.

  She knew men.

She knew that it was easiest for her to get everything she wanted at such a moment.
