At the other end of the corridor, Yuliana was sitting on the floor with her back against the wall. She had a bottle of wine in her hand and was completely wasted.
The expensive dress she was wearing had stains of red wine on it. Her hair was in a mess, and strands of hair were stuck on her cheeks. She was like a drunkard slumped on the ground.
At the same time, there was a tall man with broad shoulders standing in front of her. Axel was surprised to see that that man was Liam.
Axel toyed with an unlit cigarette between his lips. He cocked his head and observed them curiously.
Yuliana was kicking her legs around like a child throwing a tantrum. Even so, Liam showed no sign of being annoyed. He simply watched her quietly with a tender, loving smile on his face.
In the end, Yuliana stopped making a fuss. Just as her body was about to slump over, Liam lowered himself and picked her up.
Then, he shouldered a door open and carried her in.
After some time, Liam left the bedroom reluctantly and closed the door.
"Hey, Liam," Axel called out in a neutral tone from the dark.
Liam lifted his eyes in shock. His gaze met with Axel's glistening eyes.
"When did you get here, Axel?" Liam's heart pounded.

I am trying to figure out why an author writes one page and it is suppose to be a chapter and then the author gets the audience hooked on the story and just drags it on. Follow the rules please, and at least give the 7 chapters daily. Two chapters every other day is a waste of time. Or just release the book and give us the option to buy it....
