Chapter 5 You'd better don't make Mr. Langford angry
At night in the early autumn was cool enough to make people shiver.
Tina Lynd walked to home. There were blisters on her foot.
When she opened the door, it is a space that belonged to herself.
Without a word, she undressed and took a shower.
The boiling water washed over her body. She didn't turn off the water until she felt a layer of skin coming off. Then she rubbed the skin of her body with the bath towel as hard as she could.
She pushed a little harder and all those nasty marks would be scrubbed off.
She did it all with a blank face. She didn't cry at all. When she looked in the mirror, she saw the bruise on her neck and stared at herself in the mirror with bloodshot eyes for a long time. Suddenly, she couldn't control her tears.
She was thinking that how she had become like this ......
"Piece of shit."
She jerked her hand up and slapped herself.
But she thought that one slap wasn't enough. Then she slapped herself again.
She felt pain and she could think clearly.
She dried her tears, stepped out of the shower and blew her hair dry. She was calmed down.
Louis was like a bomb. She must never meet him again or she would never get as lucky as she had today.
She was not foolish enough to play trick on Sylvia Langford. Even if Sylvia Langford was quite annoying, it was not enough for her to ruin her reputation.
Quitting was the best option. It would be better for her to leave Xesxia and take her mother to a smaller city.
Samuel Langford was a generous boss. She had got two houses in the past few years. And she still had one or two million yuan in her bankcard.
When she thought about it, she felt less stressed.
She didn't hesitate. She put down the towel and immediately sent resignation to the HR department.
The moment when the email was sent, it was as if a huge boulder had been lifted from her heart. But she was only relieved for a moment. For that frightening feeling of emptiness spread through her, as if her heart had been torn out of its place.
Tina Lynd leaned back in chair and reached up to cover her eyes. This caused all the emotions that were about to spill out of her to disappear between her fingers.
Not knowing how long had passed, she felt a sense of exhaustion. Then she lay down on the sofa, falling asleep.
Since she was quitting her job, she turned off the alarm clock when it went off.
She slept until noon before waking up. Tina Lynd was awakened up by the continuous ringing of her mobile phone.
