The easier they entered, the more difficult it would be for them to even get away alive from there; David looked at Lillian with a deadpan expression, but the expression was replaced with an ecstatic expression.
“Since he is daring enough to burst into my boundary, I should at least show him there is nothing called fair in love and fair since he first crossed the line.”
David was still respectful toward the woman in front of him because he knew she knew nothing about the outside and was living in a bubble dream.
Lillian was confused when she heard, “what do you mean?”
she asked, she knew Oscar was willful and he would do anything for what he desired, and his desire for power and people was beyond saving,
Isn't that why she never had the guts to ask him the real question, fearing she would hear something she didn’t want and why she had left everything?
David walked to the woman and stood in front of her like an immovable mountain “Miss Lillian, it’s time to stop.” He didn’t need to say it in detail because he knew she understood.
Lilian shook her head. “No, I don’t want to leave; whoever you are, leave now.” She would never face hell because she once was in agony and then appended to another hell; she didn’t know which hell was better for her.
But since she was already in hell, she did not want to go to another hell to see which was better for her.
“It’s not your choice anymore; It’s mine because I’m Grace Allen’s husband.” David suddenly declared because this woman knew who Grace was better than anyone.
When the woman heard the name again after so many years, her soul finished even by the thought about the girl. “She is married to you?” she suddenly asked without realizing how much exposed.
David smirked, “it seems Miss Lilian is very familiar with this name?” David said when he saw the changing expression on the woman’s face.
Lilian shuddered in fear when she realized this man seemed bent to shatter every wall which protected her from the old past she left behind.
“I don’t…….” She wanted to refuse, but seeing the smirk on David’s face, she gave up because it was no use.
“Still, I don’t want to leave.” She firmly refused.
“It’s not your choice, Miss Lilian, I told you.” But, unfortunately, he didn't give her a second chance, and before Lilian could understand his trick, Kevin stood behind her and knocked her unconscious.
And before she fell, bodyguards grabbed her and respectfully carried her away; David looked at Kevin ``follow me behind; things are not going to be easy for us.” They could come as they wished, not leaving so quickly.
Kevin nodded because he acknowledged his brother was beyond his reach till now; he still needed much experience to catch up with David Xiver. David Xiver was a living legend and just a newbie in tricking people and stepping on their tails.
When they were just about to step out, the lights went out, and gunshots rang in every corner of the villa; everything had shaken into disarray.
David smiled like a real devil; he already knew this trick; he took out his gun and let his men protect Lillian at any cost; Kevin might not be on David’s level, but he was some crying baby, he took out his gun, and the real fight began.
David’s vision was like a wolf who didn't need light to see what was happening around him, and the best part was that his movement was like a cheetah before even Kevin could understand what his brother-in-law was trying to do. The man leaped forward and charged toward the people like they were his prey.
Kevin was stunned, he never saw his brother-in-law in action, and this was the first time he felt like his blood boiled in his vein in excitement.
He tried to follow his brother-in-law, but his brother-in-law vanished before his eyes, and soon gunshots became intense; Kevin handled a few of them and jumped in the next shot.
People protecting Lilian stood in their position without any worry; they knew with their master involved in this fight, they didn’t need to raise their hand at all and do what they were ordered to do.
Kevin and two bodyguards fought against at least 20 of them, and slowly, the gunshots decreased with each second; soon, dead bodies gathered in one place, and the noise turned into silence.
The light came back, and Kevin and the bodyguards saw the dead bodies and saw a man standing in front of it like a king covered with fresh blood; with one glance, no one needed or dared to look at the person with straight eyes.
David’s man walked to his master and handed him a clean cloth; David took him swiftly and cleaned his hand as he had just finished cutting vegetables, not humans, all of them in bad shape; by one look, one could tell these people died very fast yet so miserable.
David looked at his men with a meaningful glance “don’t learn from these idiots; if you all act like these idiots, my black Dragon will ruin in one day.”
He couldn’t help but mock Oscar Astor, who claims to be a ruthless leader, but without backstabbing and his weak tricks, he is nothing, and his men are even worse.
David’s men looked at their master with speechless expressions; they wanted to say master, they were the best killer, but for you,
it might be nothing, but can you not disrespect the dead? They know if they dare to show sympathy toward them, their master will skin them alive.
David left the villa with Kevin and others; he didn’t bring Alex with him because he didn’t want the man to suffer for a while since he had just recovered.
