CEO Proposed to His Ex-wife 99 Times novel Chapter 306

In a fret, Marshall waved his hand, "Fine, just tell him that."

Actually, he didn't even know what Peter was going to tell Kyle.

Leaving those documents on Marshall's table, Peter was not in haste for what he needed, turned around and left.

Marshall lifted those papers from the table, and spent time trying to go through the details. However, he was just continually distracted by something else in his head.

He put them down, and knocked on his forehead, thinking that he must be insane obsessing about all those trifles.

In the corridor, Peter phoned Kyle and told him everything that he had just found.

In a vexed manner, Kyle huffed, "So Ariel was the one, wasn't she? I felt that something about her was not right before, and guess what? I got to the point! Just wait and see, she shall pay for that!"

In fact, Peter was still yet to figure it out, "But it would then be a puzzle why she turned to Marcus, which was indeed a waste of time and effort if she was really scheming against you."

Kyle sneered, "Don't be fool, man. She did it."

Previously, in Kyle's backyard, Marcus had suspiciously locked himself up with his fellows in a private room, and prevented two of Kyle's staffs from getting in.

As two of Kyle's mahjong buddies, the two were smart enough to sense the eccentricity of the group. Although they didn't know what the group was exactly doing inside, it was definitely something despicable and shady.

At that moment, the police were approaching there, and inevitably made some noises in the middle of their way.

Then, the two staffs yelled at those men inside, "It's cops!"

It worked. As the group inside was thrown into panic, the two staffs took the chance to get inside and take a glance at what they were doing, and soon moved to the next room.

In the backyard of Kyle's clubhouse, Marcus and his fellow had actually placed conspicuous drugs inside each private room.

Luckily, the two staffs were agile enough to search every single room where Marcus used to stay, rummaged out those drugs left by him and stuffed them into a big jar set up in the center of the courtyard behind.

What they had done really saved the day. If without their timely effort, the policewomen would have already found those illicit drugs and incriminated Kyle.

Afterwards, Kyle offered the two staffs, who were at the same time his sharp-witted mahjong buddies, a decent reward.

However, he didn't tell Peter about that, and merely mentioned that such things brought him even more notoriety.

He said he could not just let it pass.

Still, Peter persuaded, "You'd better find sometime to talk to Marcus. He might tell you the one behind all this."

Kyle answered, "I know what to do next. Thanks a lot, Peter, and please convey my thanks to Marshall, either."

However, in fact, Marcus was now in detention center. It was said that he had long been in drug addiction, and was likely to receive further mandatory drug treatment.

He got hot under the collar every time he reminded himself of that little druggie, whom he could hardly meet at present.

And for his family, he felt disdainful to ask for their help, assuming that those good-for-nothing fellows knew nothing about that.

Now, with what he heard from Peter, Kyle was sitting in his clubhouse, rubbing his chin and wondering how to take his revenge on Ariel, the woman who was behind all this.

Previously, a group of police officers came, closed his clubhouse for a few days and nearly turned his place upside down, but fortunately their efforts to search turned up nothing at the end.

Thanks to Rosalie, who pulled a few stings to pour oil on the troubled waters, the clubhouse was now reopened again.
