The dishes Nina arranged were a big hit, making her the talk of the school.
In the eyes of the other parents, she became known as the mom who wasn’t afraid to spend money. She had stolen Madison's spotlight, and Madison couldn’t let it go.
In the afternoon, since Orion was still feeling uncomfortable from his injury, Nina took him home after lunch, excusing them from the rest of the field day.
Not long after they got home, Nina received an invitation from Madison to join the class parent group chat. Madison also sent her a message, emphasizing that all the moms were in the group, and it was useful for discussing their children's education.
Nina didn’t accept the invitation. She felt that the parent group chat didn’t seem to offer much value.
After Orion fell asleep, Nina went downstairs to call Nash, but all she got was a busy signal. Thinking back over everything that had happened at the field day, she felt increasingly uneasy, a suppressed anger building up inside her that she couldn’t quite release.
Just then, her phone dinged with a voice call from Madison. Nina didn’t have much patience for the woman. Although she considered declining the call, curiosity got the better of her, and she picked up.
"Orion’s mom, why haven’t you joined the group?"
"Oh, that. I just didn’t feel like joining. Is that a problem? If there’s nothing else, I’m quite busy," Nina replied, not wanting to waste time.
On the other end, Madison quickly spoke up, eager to keep her on the line. After a few moments of hesitation, she sighed and said, "It’s like this. I’ve arranged to meet with a few of the other moms at the mall downtown. It’s rare that we get a break from the kids, so we’re treating ourselves to a day off."
"I’m not interested, but you all have fun."
"Come on, Orion’s mom! I know how you feel. You think there’s no need to form relationships in kindergarten, right? But think about it—our kids are in kindergarten now, but eventually, they’ll move on to elementary school and middle school. You never know, these might be the same kids they’ll grow up with."
Madison was clearly trying to persuade her to come along. Nina chuckled. "Fine, fine. If it’s just a day out, where are we meeting? I’ll come."

Can you add more chapters per day please...
Don't tell me 🤯 Is Nina pharaoh's daughter?...
Meanwhile why is Nina playing hard to get? What else does she want from the man? I bet if Nash ever declares to kove the baby unconditionally she might soften up but lady just spill the secret he would be overjoyed!...
I see you increased the number of chapters per day by 2, but please can we have like 20 chapters per day? 7 chapters is too little, the suspense is just crazy...
Man forget Nina. Bring Nash to me. I'll be more than willing to be with such a handsome and rich++ husband. 😘😘...
Oh god. EVERYTIME every freaking time Nash and Nina are on the edge to reconcile there's a third party. And Miranda!! Oh my God. I think the story is useless now. How come there's so much villain in their life. Gosh?!...
