Nina stayed with Nash at the hospital all night.

The next morning, she went downstairs to buy breakfast and spotted Madison rushing toward the inpatient wing. Nina smirked but didn’t think much of it.

"Nina!"

She hadn’t expected Madison to notice her, but there she was, stopping right in front of her, eyeing her up and down.

"Surprised to see me doing just fine?" Madison snapped.

Now that they were closer, Nina noticed a red mark on Madison’s face. Someone had clearly hit her. Nina couldn’t help but chuckle.

"What’s so funny? It was you, wasn’t it? You told me about Mabel to destroy my family, right?"

Nina was a bit taken aback by how quickly Madison had figured it out but didn’t deny it. "Yeah, it was me. But compared to what you did, I’d say I was being merciful."

Madison screamed in rage, "I’m going to make you pay for this!" She lunged at Nina, but Nina swiftly dodged.

Madison crashed into the nurse’s station, sending items tumbling to the floor. Nurses quickly surrounded them. One of them held Madison back while another approached Nina.

"Mrs. York, are you okay?" the nurse asked, concerned.

Nina shook her head and then walked over to Madison, looking down at her with a cold gaze. "You shouldn’t be coming after me. You should be thanking me."

"Thank you? Are you out of your mind? If it weren’t for you, I never would have found out about my husband’s affair! I wouldn’t have gone to confront them, and my husband wouldn’t be filing for divorce. Because of you, I lost everything!"

Nina scoffed. "You’re unbelievable. I tried to help, and this is the thanks I get?"

Nina knew the nurses would hold Madison back. After making her point, she casually whistled and walked out of the hospital. Behind her, Madison was left throwing a tantrum.

Later, Nina looked into what had happened. She found out that Madison and Mabel had gotten into a heated argument, during which Mabel was pushed, injuring her stomach. Mabel was now in the hospital on bed rest, trying to protect her pregnancy.
