"A trivial person. You don't need to worry about him. Your dad and I will handle it," Nina assured, determined to keep Orion out of it. He was just a child, deserving a happy and carefree childhood, free from adult complications.
But Orion didn't see it that way. "Mom, Dad, we’re a family. Is there anything I can do to help? I want to do whatever I can."
"Taking care of yourself is the biggest help you can give us," Nina replied, giving his cheek a gentle squeeze. "Your dad and I will make sure you’re safe."
She would protect both of her children, and as for the masked man, Nash would figure out his identity. Now, it was time for them to go home.
“I know you can do it, Mom and Dad!” Orion said with a big smile. Once he was buckled in, Nash began driving home.
……
Back at the Fay residence.
Since her parents had shown up at the hotel, Lydia had officially moved back in with them. Mrs. Fay was now constantly reminding the housekeeper, “Make extra nutritious dishes and ensure Lydia gets a good diet.”
“Mom, it’s really not necessary. I’m fine,” Lydia said, feeling a bittersweet mix of emotions. After everything, she realized that no one loved her more than her own family. Looking back, she couldn’t believe she had allowed Quincy to come between her and her parents.
“I know you’re looking out for me, but you promised to give me some time, at least until I’m fully healed and things with Quincy are resolved.”
“Taking time to heal is important, I agree. But what more do you need to resolve with Quincy?” Mrs. Fay’s concern resurfaced. “I really hope you’re not considering going back to him. I know people, and he’s not right for you.”
Her mother believed in finding someone compatible in more than just financial terms. Lydia had received a top-tier education, working as a secretary to gain experience. When she was ready to move on, the family would support her in joining the family business or starting something of her own.
But Quincy? He came from a modest background. Through hard work, he had climbed his way up to an assistant position and eventually ventured into starting his own business. To be fair, he was quite impressive for someone from his circumstances.

I see you increased the number of chapters per day by 2, but please can we have like 20 chapters per day? 7 chapters is too little, the suspense is just crazy...

Oh god. EVERYTIME every freaking time Nash and Nina are on the edge to reconcile there's a third party. And Miranda!! Oh my God. I think the story is useless now. How come there's so much villain in their life. Gosh?!...
