CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery novel Chapter 1349

Behind them, Quincy watched Lydia and Eugene walk away, a storm of pain swirling in his chest. He wanted nothing more than to step in, stop them, and take Lydia back home. But in his current position, what right did he have?

“Quincy,” Tiffany cut in, taking advantage of the moment. “I know how women think, and I can see through Lydia’s little game. She’s with this new guy, but she still wants to keep you as a backup. She’s just using you as a safety net.”

Quincy clenched his fists. “I don’t hit women, but don’t push me. I’m warning you. Keep your mouth shut.”

“Quincy!” Tiffany’s frustration boiled over. Why was he so devoted to Lydia?

But she also knew when to stop. If she kept pushing and really set Quincy off, it could spiral out of control. So, she reluctantly fell silent, watching as Quincy walked away.

Immediately, Tiffany pulled out her phone and called the media contact she had arranged. “You got all the footage I mentioned, right? Follow through as we discussed, and I’ll send over the rest of the payment.”

With the money she had promised, the media outlet wasted no time. Within minutes, gossip about Lydia hit the top of trending topics, complete with edited video clips.

In the video, it was obvious that Lydia had barely stepped out of the courthouse when another man approached her with a bouquet. Combined with photos Eugene had previously sent to Mrs. Perez, all neatly arranged on a timeline, the scandal quickly blew up.

In no time, Lydia was being mercilessly slammed by netizens.

“So this Miss Fay was cozying up to another guy before her divorce was even finalized? They’re already at the beach together, and he’s waiting outside the courthouse with flowers? Could they be any more blatant?”

“Mr. Ford, should we suppress this trending topic?” his assistant asked, aware of Eugene’s pursuit of Lydia.

Eugene shook his head. “Leave it alone.”

He closed his laptop, his mind already made up. If he simply shut it down, Lydia might thank him, but then what?

They would still just be friends, with no progress. No matter how much he wanted to take things further, Lydia clearly didn’t feel the same way. He might as well let the situation unfold even more intensely.
