CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery novel Chapter 1427

Nina sighed to herself, thinking that the bond between grandparents and grandchildren really was something special. The moment the kids were mentioned, Pharaoh agreed without hesitation.

During their last visit to the hospital, she had seen Pharaoh slip a piece of paper under his pillow. It was likely a medical report.

While Nash and Pharaoh were engrossed in talking about Gemma, Nina slowed her steps and approached the back of Pharaoh’s bed. She slipped her hand under the pillow but it was empty. Pharaoh must have already disposed of the report. He was indeed intent on keeping everyone in the dark.

Determined to find another way, she was suddenly interrupted by Gemma’s wail. Pharaoh, who was holding her, looked panicked. “Am I holding her wrong?” He adjusted his grip several times, but no matter how he held her, Gemma only cried louder.

Nash quickly figured it out. “She’s probably hungry.”

“Where’s the formula? Hurry, we can’t let my little granddaughter go hungry!” Pharaoh fretted, glancing around. Infants needed to be fed promptly, or they could quickly become distressed.

He quickly searched through the bag, then realized that last time, on an outing with Gemma, she had gotten hungry halfway, and he had used the formula they had packed. When they got home, he had forgotten to refill, so now they were out.

Driving home himself would take some time, so it made more sense to just take Gemma back. “We’re out of formula. I’ll take her home to feed her,” Nash said, lifting Gemma into his arms, gently soothing her. “Hang tight, sweetheart. Daddy’s taking you home for some milk right now.”
