Meanwhile, Nina and Nash had just landed after several hours in the air. As they moved toward baggage claim, a sudden commotion erupted ahead.
A throng of people surged toward their direction, causing Nash to instinctively grab Nina’s hand. But the crowd was thick, pressing in from all sides, and in the chaos, their hands slipped apart.
Gripping his suitcase, Nash scanned the faces around him, searching desperately for Nina. But all he saw were unfamiliar faces and Nina was nowhere in sight.
