Winnie held onto one belief that she had to call Jamie.
Fighting through the waves of pain overwhelming her body, she slowly pulled out her phone.
When Jamie saw Winnie’s name on the caller ID, she answered immediately. “Where are you?”
“Jamie…” Winnie’s weak voice came through the phone.
Jamie instantly sensed something was wrong. Panic set in as she shouted, “Winnie, where are you right now?”
Turning to Ben, she cried out, “Ben, something’s happened to Winnie! Use your connections to locate her. She just called me. She’s in trouble!”
Hearing this, Winnie’s mind flashed to an image of Jamie and Ben together. Ben had taken Charlie back, and now they were a happy family of three.
But instead of anger, Winnie felt relief. “Jamie, you’ve worked so hard your whole life. Now, just be with Ben. I fell in love with Jack Green, not Ben. I lost control and acted impulsively. For Charlie’s sake, be with Ben and give Charlie a complete family. You’ll always be my sister. I don’t blame you…”
Ben had approached Winnie using the name Jack Green, and in her heart, that was who he would always be.
Jamie’s voice trembled. “Winnie, don’t say that. Tell me where you are, and we’ll come get you. Please, hold on…”
“No, I can’t hold on much longer. No matter what happens, you’ll always be my sister. Ben loves you… I truly wish you both a long and happy life together.”
Winnie’s words, full of heartfelt sincerity, shattered Jamie.
She broke down, sobbing uncontrollably.
Ben, who had overheard everything, immediately ordered his team to track Winnie’s GPS location.
Winnie, growing colder by the second, longed to reach Jamie and give her one last hug. “Jamie…”
Meanwhile, Nash had already picked up Wilfred, who had brought gifts for Nina and her children. Nash knew about Wilfred’s feelings for Nina and their close friendship, but he didn’t seem upset.
In fact, Nash casually suggested, “How about we have a meal before heading to Ben’s place?”
Nina quickly added, “I’ll cook myself.”
Ever since Wilfred had come to Birkham, he would occasionally visit Nina, and she would sometimes invite him to stay for a meal. He had tasted her cooking before. It was truly exceptional, leaving nothing to criticize.
If only he had found Nina earlier, if only he had been the one by her side first, there wouldn’t have been a Nash in the picture.
But unfortunately, he had been a step too late.
Though Wilfred wanted to savor Nina’s cooking again, he was pressed for time. He had only managed to carve out a few hours from his busy schedule.

I see you increased the number of chapters per day by 2, but please can we have like 20 chapters per day? 7 chapters is too little, the suspense is just crazy...

Oh god. EVERYTIME every freaking time Nash and Nina are on the edge to reconcile there's a third party. And Miranda!! Oh my God. I think the story is useless now. How come there's so much villain in their life. Gosh?!...
