CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery novel Chapter 431

Nina woke up in the middle of the night. Feeling a weight on her hand, she opened her eyes and saw Nash sleeping soundly beside her, tightly holding her hand.

His hair was disheveled, and his face showed signs of exhaustion, indicating he had not slept well. His usually clean-shaven face now had some stubble, which caught Nina off guard for a moment. Countless emotions surged within her.

After a while, Quincy came over, holding various items in his hand. "Madam, you’re awake," he whispered softly.

Nina nodded in acknowledgment.

Quincy glanced at the sleeping Nash and continued, "Mr. York stayed by your side all night. I told him to get some rest, but he insisted on staying with you. He only fell asleep in the morning."

Nina felt a lump in her throat and hoarsely asked, "The child..."

Quincy replied, "The child is safe. It was a close call, but luckily the child is fine. Otherwise, it will be over between you and Mr. York. The moment you went into the operating room, Mr. York was very concerned about you, as well as the child in your belly. He was afraid that if anything happened to the child, you would resent him!"

Nina instinctively looked at Nash's face and asked, "Is that really what he thinks?"

Quincy placed the items on the table and continued, "I wouldn't deceive you. Mr. York is genuinely worried about you. Even if the child isn't his or if he has considered terminating the pregnancy, he won't push you if you're unwilling. He's afraid of making mistakes that could irreversibly harm your relationship."

Nina had many concerns. She did not tell Nash because she feared he would not accept her child. After all, he had warned her from the beginning. Once he became ruthless, she would not stand a chance against him.

Furthermore, if she divorced him with a child in between, what would that count for? It would be better if he did not know at all. She could work hard and support the child on her own.
