"Why are you here at this hour?" Nina looked at him. "Why have you been standing there so long?"
"I thought you were asleep and didn't want to wake you," Nash replied softly.
Nina gripped his hand tightly. "I got a call from Scott today, but it wasn't him. It was a recording saying he was going to that organization. It's been so long with no word. Could he be in danger?"
She desperately needed someone to assure her that Scott was safe, so she could stop worrying.
Nash asked, "Is that why you can’t sleep?"
Nina was anxious and said, "Every time I close my eyes, I imagine him covered in blood. I can’t sleep at all."
