Nina pressed her lips together, her expression serious. "Mrs. Quintana, please take me to see the injured."
"You!" Mrs. Quintana was furious.
But what could she do? She had to comply with Nina's request.
As soon as Nina approached the entrance of the injured camp, the overwhelming stench of blood and rot hit her. She couldn't hold back and retched.

She had no choice but to check each person one by one, but Scarlett was nowhere to be found. Despair washed over her. If Scarlett wasn't here, had she been killed?
Nina's breathing became rapid, and she felt like she couldn't get enough air. As she started to collapse, someone caught her.
"Careful," a hoarse female voice said.
Nina looked up instinctively and saw Scarlett!
But Scarlett's eyes were blank, showing no recognition. Nina immediately grabbed her hand. "I'm taking her with me."
Since Nina was allowed to search for people here, taking someone out should be easy, right?
