Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1228

After Aurora was sent home, the bodyguard continued standing guard right outside her door, as if worried that she might flee.

Aurora stayed inside her room, burying her head in her pillow and sobbing into it.

It took so much for her to get pregnant. She couldn't abort the baby just like that, or she would stand no chance.

Aurora wiped the tears from her face and dialed a number on her phone.

When the call went through, Aurora said in a whisper, "Theo wants me to abort the baby tomorrow. He doesn't want the baby. His bodyguard is standing right outside my door and I can't run. What should I do?"

Yerick yawned and said, "Why are you panicking? Things have only just begun."

"But he's bringing me to the hospital tomorrow! Help me think of a way. It took so much for me to get pregnant. If he forces me to abort the baby, you and I won't get another chance to do this again."

"Am I your mother or what? Why do you come looking for me about every little thing? Are you completely useless?"

"I…" Aurora wiped the tears from her face. "Since I'm so useless, why are you using me in the first place?"

Yerick rubbed his temples and said, "Aurora Payne, I suggest for you to get a good night's rest now. Leave tomorrow's problems for tomorrow."

"What did you say?"

Before Aurora could get a response, Yerick had hung up on her.

"Hello? Hello?"

Aurora was on the verge of collapse. She hurriedly called Yerick back, but Yerick rejected her call.

Aurora clenched her fists and punched her pillow hard in frustration.

The next morning, the bodyguard sent Aurora back to the hospital. Theodore was already there.

Aurora wasn't in the best of spirits, having only slept a little in the latter half of the night.

"You'll go for a check-up before the surgery. I got the best doctor for you and the procedure will be painless. He will do his best to minimize the harm done to your body."

"Theo," Aurora said as she tugged on his sleeve. "I won't disturb your peace. Let me take the baby away and we won't ever appear before you, okay?"

Joy filled Aurora's heart at Theodore's words.

"You'll let me keep the baby?" She was so happy, she grabbed his arm. "Theo…"

Theodore flung her hand away mercilessly. "I have something else to attend to and need to go. My bodyguard will send you back home."

Aurora stood there, watching Theodore leave in a daze.

Just then, the doctor walked by and Aurora immediately approached him. "Doctor, what exactly is going on?"

The doctor explained the situation to Aurora.

After hearing him out, Aurora didn't know whether to feel pleasantly surprised or frightened.

If Theodore forced her to abort the baby, disregarding her health condition, she would have no say in the matter. Yet, he eventually decided to keep the baby.

She knew she loved the right man.
