In the middle of the night, Theodore lay in bed, staring blankly at the ceiling until there was a knock on the door.
"Theo."
It was Aurora's voice.
Theodore sat up from the bed, pulled back the covers, and then got up to open the door. "You're here."
"Theo, did you need something from me?"
Theodore had someone bring Aurora here.
Aurora was worried that Theodore was going to ask her to have an abortion again, but the doctor had been very clear—she couldn't have an abortion. After her heart transplant, having this child was already a great miracle. An abortion would cause her health severe harm.
"Aurora, the child can't grow up without a father. Let's get married. We'll have the wedding next week. It's better to do it as soon as possible," Theodore said.
Aurora was stunned, looking at him in disbelief. "Theo, what did you say?"
It was the dead of night, and she thought she was dreaming.
When Theodore had sent someone to find her, Aurora thought she was dreaming and even pinched herself.
She had nervously followed the bodyguards to this place, and now Theodore was saying he wanted to marry her. This was something that could only happen in her dreams. How could it be happening in reality?
Aurora pinched herself again. It hurt.
She was so excited that she threw herself into Theodore's arms. "Theo, are you being serious? You really want to marry me?"
Theodore stood motionless like a wooden statue, his hands hanging by his side. He just let Aurora hold him and didn't hug her back.
Aurora felt how stiff he was and looked up at him. "Theo, what's wrong? What happened? Tell me."
"It was Rose who asked me to marry you."
Aurora didn't know how to respond for a second. "What…what did you say?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
