After Rosalie pushed them out, she slammed the door shut with a loud bang. Her body gave out, and she collapsed to the floor, closing her eyes in anguish.
"Rose!" Sebastian called as he knocked on the door. "I'm sorry."
"Stop talking! Just leave! Please, just go. I don't want to see either of you right now. I need some space."
Chandra sighed helplessly. "We should go."
Sebastian knew there was no point in staying and causing more conflict. The two of them left together.
Inside the elevator, Chandra said coldly, "Sebastian, don't think I don't know why you didn't tell her earlier. Are you still harboring feelings for her?"
"Grandma, Rose and I are both adults. Whatever happens between us is none of your business anymore."
"She's my granddaughter, and you're my grandson. Do you think I wouldn't care about this?"
Sebastian turned to glare at her with icy eyes. "Grandma, Rose and I were once married. If we had consummated our marriage, what would you do about it? Besides, are you planning to announce to the world that she's your granddaughter? Don't forget, my uncle's wife is still alive, and she's not someone to be trifled with. If she learns about Rose's existence, what do you think will happen? Back then, didn't you force my uncle into marrying her because of her father's position?"
"That's enough!" Chandra snapped angrily. "What do you even know about the past? You weren't even born back then!"
"You're right. I wasn't born yet, but that doesn't make your actions any more noble. So, Grandma, don't try to lecture me. You'd better stay out of my affairs with Rose. If this escalates, it'll only hurt everyone involved."
With a ding, the elevator doors opened. Sebastian stepped out without another word, leaving Chandra behind.
Chandra followed him out, watching his departing figure with furrowed brows. A sense of foreboding crept into her heart.
Sebastian might be even more ruthless than his father.

That evening, Yerick accompanied Wesley for dinner, but Wesley couldn't seem to enjoy the meal. He sighed several times and eventually put down his cutlery.
"Mr. Spencer, do you not have an appetite?" Yerick asked, setting down his cutlery as well. "Are you still worried about Miss Harper? She'll be fine."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
