"Aurora!" Theodore grabbed her face tightly. "You dare to negotiate with me? You murderer!"
"Then you'll never find out who the mastermind is! Even if I die now, that mastermind is still behind the scenes controlling everything. He's too mysterious and powerful. You won't be able to find any evidence against him. He's still watching and controlling everyone around you, but you don't even know who he is.
"Right now, I'm the only one who can help you. Theo, it's up to you. Either you help me find the best lawyer to appeal, or let me die. If it's the latter, the real mastermind will remain free, and you'll never have peace!
"The one who killed your grandmother is him! He's the one who arranged for me to be by your side because I look like Rosalie!"
"The mastermind is Sebastian?" Theodore asked.
"Of course not," Aurora replied. "If it were Sebastian, it would be too obvious, right? This person is far more capable than Sebastian, and even you. Otherwise, how could you have not noticed until now?"
As Theodore thought about it, a sense of dread crept over him.
If this person really existed, it was terrifying. Who was he?
He had been manipulating everything behind the scenes. The incident with his mother being shot might also have been his doing.
Aurora couldn't be clever enough to plan all of this herself. What was this person's ultimate goal?
Theodore needed to find him. Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Aurora, I agree to your demands. I'll find you the best lawyer for your appeal, but I can't control how the judge will rule. If you want money, I can give you that too."
Money was much easier for Theodore to provide than anything else.
"That's the most I can do. If you want me to bribe the judge for you, that's impossible. Now that I know the mastermind exists, I'll investigate. Even if you don't tell me, I'll find out eventually. You'd better stop while you're ahead and not push me further."
Theodore didn't want to waste any more time on her. He had made himself very clear.
Aurora, being someone who knew how to read the situation, said, "Alright, I'll tell you."
Aurora then told Theodore everything she knew about the mysterious person, but she didn't know his name.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
