In the early hours of the morning, Theodore sat in the penthouse, gazing down at the view through the large windows. Outside, the lights sparkled, and the bustling streets twisted and turned. Even in the dead of night, the city remained vibrant.
He reached out to touch the bottle of liquor beside him, but just as he was about to grab it, the bottle was taken away.
Theodore turned around, frowning as he extended his hand. "Give it back."
"Don't drink anymore. Your wounds haven't healed yet." Caleb forcibly took the bottle.
Theodore snapped coldly, "If you don't let me drink, do you want me to jump off the building?"
"Don't try to scare me. My heart is weak. If you jump here, I'll die of fright, and then I'll hunt you down in hell and give you a good beating," Caleb said.
Theodore chuckled. "Then I won't jump."
He had considered jumping and had almost done it, but at the last moment, Wesley stopped him.
Later, he waited for Rosalie, but no matter how long he waited, she never came.
He wanted to see her one last time before dying, but in the end, she never showed.
He thought about jumping again, but…
In the end, he no longer wanted to.
Caleb sat down beside him. "Theo, how long are you going to hide out here with me?"
Theodore had contacted Caleb and asked the latter to secretly pick him up from the hospital. He even hired a hacker to sabotage the hospital's surveillance.
No one knew that Theodore had left the hospital; he simply vanished.
All he wanted was to disappear.
After thinking it through, there was only Caleb's place where he could find some peace and quiet for a while.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
