Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 823

Cynthia left the hospital.

After returning home, she hid in her room and cried. She had hoped Theodore would come after her, but he never showed up.

Knock, knock.

A series of knocking sounds came from the door.

Cynthia's heart leapt with joy. Theodore really came! She knew he couldn't let her go.

She quickly wiped the tears from her face, and tidied her hair before opening the door.

However, when she saw the man outside, Cynthia's expression turned cold. "Why is it you?"

Yerick walked in, and slammed the door shut behind him.

"What good is crying here? He can't see you."

Cynthia clenched her fists. "You said you would help me, yet Theo still abandoned me."

"Didn't I help you?" Yerick turned around, looking at her with a puzzled expression. "Didn't I find a heart for you? And the shares of Farover Enterprise. Didn't I help you get those?"

Now, the main person in control of Farover Enterprise had become Yerick. However, he was using a third-party proxy, so it couldn't be traced back to him. He was hiding in the shadows as the real controller.

Seeing Cynthia's defiant expression, Yerick stepped forward and pinched her face. "You've got the money, you've got the heart, you've got your life, and you still can't let go of Theodore?"

"I'm not satisfied!" Cynthia exclaimed. "We were almost married, but he abandoned me for that woman! And now there's another woman by his side, the one named Aurora—where did she even come from?"

Suddenly, Cynthia noticed Yerick's half-smile. At once, she understood.

"Did you orchestrate everything all along? You brought Aurora to Theo's side!"

Yerick let go of her face, and poured himself a glass of water. "That's right. It was me."

"Why did you do this?" Cynthia asked angrily. "What do you want?"

Yerick casually took a sip of water, and said, "It's fun."

"Fun?" Cynthia rushed forward and shouted, "Your happiness is built on my suffering! Is that what you call fun?"
