Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 835

Sydney's mind went blank.

Her eyes widened in shock as she stared at the man's face right before her.

His eyes were shut, as if he was enjoying the moment.

Sydney's body stiffened, and she couldn't move an inch. She didn't even have the energy to push him away.

Somehow, she found her entire body soft and limp. Suddenly, she felt a strong force push her against the wall.

Christopher started kissing her harder.

His large hands pressed against her shoulders, and slowly roamed downwards. He wrapped an arm around her waist, holding his other arm against her back while slowly inching downward.

Sydney's knees went weak, and she almost lost her balance. She was pinned to the wall, allowing him to drag her along for the ride.

He hugged her tight in his arms, stopping her from collapsing on the floor.

As the kiss deepened to the point of almost losing control, Sydney's mind buzzed as she felt all energy being sucked out of her. She felt as though she was no longer herself.

Just then, she felt him pinch her at her waist.

Sydney snapped back to reality, and pushed Christopher away with all her might.

She panted hard as she looked up at him. He stared back at her, the look in his eyes complex.

Sydney smoothed out her clothes, her erratic breathing betraying the panic she felt.

Christopher looked silently at her before finally saying after a long while, "Sorry. I couldn't hold myself back."

He said it flatly, not really sounding guilty about it at all. In fact, he sounded almost righteous about it.

He couldn't hold himself back, so he kissed her without her permission.

His behavior clearly crossed a line, yet somehow, Sydney didn't feel the slightest bit angry. She simply felt panicked, and had the urge to flee the room.

"Are you alright?" Christopher lifted a hand, wanting to caress her face.

Sydney avoided his touch like the plague. "I'm fine."

Christopher retracted his hand, and smirked. "I'm sorry. I thought you were…"

Sydney was shocked to hear what Christopher said.

She kept pinching herself to see if she was in fact dreaming. She couldn't understand why Christopher would be remotely interested in her.

"Mr. Jackson, I'm past the age of forty and am a married woman. I'm sure hordes of women fancy you, and they're probably younger and more beautiful than I am. I think…"

"Syd," Christopher said, cutting her off. "Do you really think I'm so superficial, only fancying young girls?"

Sydney bowed her head, not daring to look at him.

Christopher's sensual and magnetic voice sounded in her ears.

"Why can't a man like me fancy a woman with experience like you? Or do you think all men are the same?"

"Mr. Jackson, that's not what I meant. I just don't understand why you would…"

Sydney felt embarrassed to even complete her sentence.

She couldn't believe her heart was racing like a young, naive girl having her first romantic encounter.
