Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 850

Sydney stared at Yvonne for a long time without speaking, just silently watching her.

Yvonne had spoken such harsh words without understanding the situation.

If it had been in the past, Sydney would have immediately fought with the girl, but now, she suddenly felt too tired to argue about anything.

Seeing Sydney's silence, Yvonne frowned. "Why aren't you speaking? Are you feeling guilty? Did I hit the mark?"

"Miss Carter, since you stopped me here, that means you've investigated me. Did you find out why I'm involved with your father? Do you really think I seduced him?" Sydney asked.

"Isn't that the case?" Yvonne said angrily. "You're so old already! Why are you so shameless?"

Sydney smiled. "I'm old? So, according to you, it's okay for younger women to seduce your father, but it's not for older ones?"

"Stop twisting my words," Yvonne snapped. "Regardless, it's wrong for you to seduce my father. You caused my parents to divorce. You're nothing but a homewrecker. I really don't understand—you have a husband and a son, and now, you're seducing my dad. You're not poor, so what's your motive? Is it because it's thrilling?"

Despite Yvonne's tirade, Sydney remained silent and just quietly watched her.

Seeing Sydney's indifferent attitude, Yvonne became even more enraged.

"I get it now! Are you doing this to take revenge on my brother because he married your son's wife? Are you so angry about that, you're deliberately doing this disgraceful thing?"

Yvonne continued to lash out.

"You're a well-known woman, and your husband is also reputable. Aren't you worried about being exposed? You won't be able to show your face in public anymore!"

"So, you'd better not expose it. If my husband finds out, he and your father will likely fight to the death." Sydney stepped closer. "Miss Carter, let me give you a word of advice. Before you fully understand a situation, don't jump to conclusions. It makes you look stupid."

"You…" Yvonne, seething with rage, raised her hand to strike Sydney.

However, Sydney grabbed her wrist firmly, and her expression turned serious.

"I'm old enough to be your mother. It's not appropriate to raise your hand against me." Sydney forcefully flung Yvonne's hand away.

"You…" Yvonne's head throbbed with anger. "You're going too far! How can you do something so disgraceful? Does your son know what kind of person you are?"

"Do you know what kind of person your father is? If he wasn't willing, do you think I could have seduced him?" Sydney sneered. "If you don't want me to be with your father, then please, go ahead and break us up. If you can manage that, I'd even thank you."

"Are you provoking me?"

"I came to visit you," Yvonne said with a sweet smile, walking over. She sat down next to Geoffrey. "Dad, you seem to be in a good mood."

Geoffrey replied, "Does it surprise you that I'm in a good mood?"

"Why would it?" Yvonne said, "By the way, when is Seb coming back from abroad? I miss him. It's been months now, and I'd love to see my nephew."

"Your nephew? That child has Spencer blood." Geoffrey's expression grew colder.

Rosalie's child was the son of Sebastian's rival. Just thinking about it frustrated Geoffrey.

"But Rose married my brother, and he doesn't mind. He'll treat the child as his own," Yvonne immediately said.

"But the child isn't his, and the Spencers will find out sooner or later. They'll want the child back."

Yvonne frowned. "How can that be? The child is half Rose's. If she doesn't want to give him up…"

"But what if she does want to give him back?" Geoffrey said. "She still cares about the Spencers. You know better than I do about her marriage to Sebastian. Only your brother is stupid enough to accept it willingly."
